I love this presentation so much! I started to learn Agile testing today and have learnt lots of youtube videos about this topic and this is still on top and with the biggest value from my point.
Elisabeth is very honest guy, she is so passionate in testing. I will learn from you.
    Thank you very much!

I want to move to the States, work where she works and date her.
My team (any team) could surely use testers who are as insightfull and passionate about agile software development as she is. I think this presentation is a must see for testers and developers alike, it made me realise once again why I'm in this business. Brilliant.

Great talk and still very relevant today. The most important practice you can implement in agile testing is making sure DONE includes "Tested OK"

Elisabeth is right about the importance of a collaborative teamwork, in others words whats Agile testing means. But is also important to use all the tools available on the internet researching if a solution or alternative is available to resolve common issues. Thats what I learn as freelancer programming microcontrollers. Today the amount of information about issues and fixes in the internet is huge, the key is to be effective on the research of such information on the Net.

Excellent presentation by Elisabeth. One question comes to my mind that she mentioned, Exploratory testing by all together testers, developers and customers at the same time, which might not be feasible to conduct during the SDLC. All the above three groups conduct the exploratory testing at different times in different approaches. This is just my thought.

This is an excellent presentation and I will be building from this point as I will be starting a new contract to implement Agile QA at a major insurance company.
I have also been very turned onto Elisabeth's site in the process and found her to present information that works where the rubber hits the road.
It would be nice though if someone posted the deck that she is working from as it is no longer available at the specified link.

This was a terrific presentation You Tube video & it provided many valuable insights, examples & analogies. Liked: "Fewer bugs instead of better bug tracking systems." The broken windows in New York City analogy, in terms of demonstrating caring about something versus not caring. "Responsibility belongs to the team." Contra: being slightly hearing impaired & the irony of this being about testing. This was one of the worst examples of Closed Captioning I have seen/heard. Examples later.

The language is not a border for anybody with the correct attitude. Only that some of you seem not to understand that a simple translation accelerates any global process of reasoning and learning. Agile also is to be multicultural.

  • @thomasoutt3851

A few random samples of Closed Captioning issues: "Bull pen or bullpen had multiple variations--it was amusing, but confusing. "You create" was translated as 'Ukrainian.' "Testers" became 'pastors.' The other issue is sentence structure & punctuation & use of upper & lower case letters. This needs to be taken seriously. English is often used as an international language for business & the rules need to apply, if we are to be taken seriously. Critical watching will illustrate my points.

Agree. Delivered in an inadequately theatrical, confrontational and patronising way. I did keep thinking to myself "would I be this annoyed had it been a guy presenting this with the same style?". I guess so, since I recently saw a presentation by James Bach and didn't like his style either. That said, good content and message.

No men. Yo´re Wron, programing it´s not for people who speak just english lenguage, but it´s a universal lenguage and much more Testing, becouse it´s about business, requirement, validations, verifications, architecture, desing, data, systems and finally coding.
Meaby if you are a programer You must improve your Testing Skill or You´ll be nothing more than a coder.

  • @JAVO28
    @JAVO28 16 лет назад

wrong again. I understand much more than your simple encoder.
There was never so much as a collaborative environment nowadays that's why the language should not be a border to circumvent. is a lie and that the most current information is in English only

If You are programmer you have to learn english. There's no other way!

  • @PeriMCS

What are Your talking about !?
Not only u can't speak english but You also don't understand simple things.
I said that if You wan't to be a programmer You have to learn english. If not You will not be a good programmer. Just because documentation, books, articles is in english only. At least the best.
