I use the first layout as a college student! Each box is for a different class and then workouts/meal plan. I love the option of separation. During the weekend or in the summer I use the boxes as time chunks!
Although, I did have trouble punching the PPP cover and plastic covering with the MAMBI punch; I think an ARC would work better for this, but I don't have an ARC punch.
I love Plum Paper Planners! What I love is that you can disperse the add-on sections through each month or put them in the back of the planner with tabs! They are a lot more functional than and customizeable than EC and Happy Planner. I noticed that you didn't have a copy of the Vertical layout. I love that layout! I just hope more sticker shops start making sticker kits for Plum Paper Planners. There are some but not as many as there are for EC and HP.
I like that they give so many options, especially it not having to be punched. I'm a HP girl, but I do like the layout of some of those pages & could see adding them to my HP. Tfs
I just switched over to PPP for my at home planner and started this month. I love the paper, so smooth! I bought it without a coil and unpunched so I can put it on metal expander discs. I frankenplanned an hourly weekly and daily with some of the extras and keep 3 months at a time in my planner. The customization options are amazing!
I use the 8.5 x 11. Not sure how to insert a photo in the comments, but I’ll describe the best I can. I put the monthly spread in first, then the first half of the hourly weekly(Mon.-Wed.). I put a dashboard in that section and have it labeled weekly. Then I’ll put the daily pages in between the second half of the hourly page and have a daily dashboard that I’ll move as the week progresses, and I’ll move the weekly dashboard to the second half of the week. In addition to the three months that I keep on discs I have budget, reflection, my home and to do sections in the back. So far this setup has worked incredibly well for me and even my husband is impressed. We own a construction business and I’ll keep household stuff along with business appointments in this planner so appointments and meetings don’t end up coinciding.
I love that there's a homeschool option. It's literally impossible to find a homeschool planner. I'm a hard core Happy Planner, but that option is going to have me take another look at Plum Paper! Thanks!

I like how they “grey-out” the days from previous or next month. I use those spaces for extra notes or “to do” lists. I will be ordering a PPP for the fifth year in a row. I love their planners. I use it for my control journal (fly lady system). I use various other planners for spiritual uses.
I love plum paper planner, they are so much cheaper than Erin. I see that added new add ons, I only had a few to select from when I first started using them That in itself will make me want to go buy another one just for the add ons. I want to mention though you can do this for just their notebooks too, not just their planners I had one made for journaling with a baby section
Heather, you covered some cool features that I hadn't seen before. Nice! In the future, move the other notebooks off camera and have the planner that you are showing fill most of the screen being flat, not angled. It will help us all focus on what you are showing us and help your camera focus better on the page. I think that your camera may have focused on the ring on the planner on the right side of the frame.
I have been using their planners for 5 years and love them. Now I have all kinds of happy planners and traveler notebook journals that I'm not sure if I'm getting another one next year but I will probably break down and order one because I feel like I'm cheating if I don't lol.
I love these planners! I get the sections unbound so i can punch the pages for my happy planner. Also, I believe they allow you a maximum number of pages, not necessarily sections (but I could be wrong). I ordered a notebook and added some pages and tabbed sections to it.
I love the customizable aspect of this system! Thanks for taking the time to describe everything. I like the coils for ease of writing, so I think this would work great for journaling.
I love the daily 12 month planner because I need to plan per day for work. You can customize all the headings. It's great. Right now I got the 6 months but will get the 12 month for 2021. I decorate it and plan to decorate the 12 month planner as well. Im excited for the full year. I don't know how I feel about the Erin Condren daily duo. Don't care for the times on the side and the 2 separate books.
The daily is so tempting! I have always combined my life and teaching stuff in one planner. Cause let’s face it... I’m 53, single, 2 grown girls. My personal life is NOT enough for its own planner. Lol. I also keep a daily page in a notebook where I list who was absent. What we actually got to. Anything that goes on... meetings, parent contacts. I can see this daily design totally replacing the need for the extra notebook.
I love how customizable plum planner is and when I found out you could request it on found a few months ago I was blown away! I love the discount system and I may try this as my planner next year. Especially with the add in sections! Although I do wish I could purchase those add in sections separately LOL

Hey Heather, Thank you so much for doing this video. I liked that you described the paper and actually seeing it while someone else choosing the options. I like the vertical layout. I keep more a diary than a planner. But the daily life planner is the one that I have customized ready to order. Yes you can change the name on all of the headers. This is the area that I changed it up the meet my medical diary. Like the 1st box is to do list, I changed others to weather, pain scale, affected pain areas etc.. After watching your video, I think most likely I will try the 6 month and see how it goes. Now I'm wondering if you can customize the notepads? 😀

This is the planner I used before I became a Happy Planner concert. ☺️ The quality of the paper is amazing, but I think I prefer the deco and inspiration of the Happy Planner now. I know I love the discs. Good idea to order unbound.
Do you use the plastic or metal discs? I bought a HP in 2016 and hated that the pages didn’t turn smoothly and when i wanted to fold it the pages would pop out. I do love how cute and customizable they are though!
I just ordered a Plum Paper Planner. I got a vertical priorities. I had a difficult time deciding between the Me and Vertical Prioriies. In the end, I chose the Vertical Priorities.

I have set it up and will be purchasing some time in the next few weeks. Their production process is completely different and not set up for that. Their model is set up to mainly sell in stores while as plum paper is set up online and prints the planners when you order.

Hey Heather! I’m super new to using a happy planner, but I have bullet journaled since last Christmas. I was wondering how far ahead do you decorate your spreads? I don’t want to create a spread too soon but I also don’t want to wait until last minute and not get around to it. Any advice?

What if you want to punch them yourself do you get more pages instead of the 80? Or is it still 80 no matter what you do to add.
