    great video. Lifestyle Campers are amazing quality. We are waiting for our new Reconn R2SE to be built then we will be travelling full-time out of it with our Gladiator as tow rig.

    I thought trailers on Imogen were illegal or is it just the alpine loop?

    • @AdventureBuilt
      @AdventureBuilt  5 месяцев назад

      I’ve never heard of any vehicle not being allowed on any of the Colorado passes.

      @@AdventureBuilt there are signs at the bottom of many trails banning trailers likely because you can’t make certain switchbacks. I don’t recall if Imogene had one or not. There’s some discussion on Google.

    That recon is to heavy to pull with a 4runner

    • @AdventureBuilt
      @AdventureBuilt  5 месяцев назад

      I’m pretty sure is falls within the towing capacity of the 4Runner and Trevor has been dragging it all around the country just fine for a while now. And his 4Runner has over 150k miles.

      @AdventureBuilt well maybe you could ask Trevor if it weighs over 5k loaded and we will have the answer. I know the icon e4 s are over 6k lbs loaded

    Who tf is buying these at these prices? They are very nice, but clearly not for anyone that isn’t rich or willing to be in debt for their entire life.

      You would be amazed on the amount of people that are willing to be a debt slave for a large portion of their lives. 75% of Americans don’t even have $700 saved to address an unexpected emergency but they’ll buy a 70k trailer or a 100k pick up. It’s wild!

      I was just quoted $365/mo for 180 mos (15=years!) for a ROG RK12, which is supposed to be on the cheaper side of these which is marked at $33k, but after payments and $4k down, it comes in close to $70k!! I’ll be dead by the time I pay it off. The race would be who dies first - me or the trailer.

      What about the video did you not like. I can understand you not liking the prices, but what was the issue with the video. And just for reference I have about 20 hours of my life invested in researching the newest trailers, filming the interviews, creating and editing this video. I’m curious!

      @@AdventureBuilt My critique would be 3 videos crammed into 1 - making them feel incomplete, assuming the viewer knows these companies and specific products, felt the videos were more about ur skills as an interviewer and stories, too much b roll, all if that culminated in the frustration of how expensive these rigs really are - my bad, but as a consumer watching these videos I have literally seen 40k rigs not come stock w a 200$ tv but extol the virtues of a 3 gal rotopak that costs 100$! Doubt this was helpful just my opinion, have watched 500 plus rv vid and just felt u didn't put ur best foot forward. Wish u the best!
