Yowza! This brings me back! In the 70s-80s my parents drove us all in a van from Maine to Florida...every February for years. South of the Border was always a stop! We watched the funny Billboard signs for miles. I remember buying pink morracas and jumping beans. Thanks Jordan!👍🌟
Been there many times as a kid. After I got married and had our first child we stopped there in 92. Now i want to bring the grandkids!!! Thanks for the memories
South of the Border: Pedro's Mexico for me it'd be BRING MONEY or a low-interest credit card. I want the frog planter, several of the "face" vases, a number of hats for the grand nieces and nephews, shopping bags, painted pottery items of all types for my patio and for gifts, too. What a great place! Thanks, Jordan, for taking us there.
Thanks Jordan for stopping at south of the boarder. This place is just as it is colorful , great shop's and such a wonderful community to attract anyone from overseas to come and visit. 🤗💛👍
I spent about 3 days there just getting drunk and hanging out like you’re doing. So much fun. Stayed at the motel there and every night Was like a tailgate party
We used to see the signs every year on the way to Myrtle Beach but never went. Finally I got to see it, when I got lost going to Myrtle and took a wrong turn. It extended my trip but it was fun to see! 😂
I've seen the Pedro's stores on travel shows since the 80s, but your visit has been the best. I was impressed with how clean and new it all looked. No trash in the parking lots or run-down businesses.
South of the Border is such an institution for anyone traveling south. I always wanted to stop there but never did. This brings back so many fun memories of family road trips! Thanks Jordan- another great trip and I love exploring with you in your travels! ☺️🥰❤️☀️🦩🌴😊
This was fun. I love places like these. Full of all kinds of fun stuff. The stores are so bright and clean. It looks like they may have done some work on the place. I seem to remember there were empty stores and ones that needed cleaning up. Thanks for bringing us and showing us all the fun stuff. Take care.
I remember stopping here as a kid in the early 70's on the drive to Disney World from Rhode Island. It was trhe first place I saw Palm Trees! My dad bought lots of fireworks here because they were all illegal land unavailable in the area we lived. I don't remmeber too much more about it since it was 50 years ago.
Stopped in there a few years ago. Place went extremely downhill since visiting as a child over 40 years ago. They use to have more signs on the road/ highway in the past.
This is too funny. Was there in 1968. LOL Nothing has changed. It is clean. I can still remember getting a Yo Yo painted like an Orange. And my Niece bought a stuffed Alligator (real!) in a dress! I don't think that is allowed anymore. :)
I've been there so many times I lived in Virginia My late Step Dad was in the Navy we have family in Georgia So when we would go visit we would stop at South Of The Border I swear coming and going even if it was just to use the restroom many memories of that place
When my family traveled from NY to Florida South of the Boarder was always a fun place to stop at. Thanks for the memories, nice to see its still as popular as ever.
👍💯💞👏👏👏. Jordan, I love your enthusiasm. Your excitement. Who can have a bad day after watching vlogs like this. When In Ga, NC and SC, is my go to place. To just go, walk around, look for weird, exciting stuff. I truly believe that every now and then you have just got to take the Bull by the horns and go for it. I'm not one to complain. I'm off on Fridays. I just like to not stress about the economy, the price of gas. Just fill up the jeep and have some me time.😁. Once I left my office for lunch said the office will be ok. I ended up in Tennessee, and stayed the weekend. I love your Vlogs because if I haven't been there and you do, then I don't feel bad. I got to see it with you. You have that young Vibe. That sometimes make me laugh, sometimes smile, sometimes go oh yeah.😁👍. It's great to be young at heart. I know I just can't do it as often as I like, but when I can, why not. It's good to share your adventures with you. Even if I've been there, it bring back positive memories. I'm a big kid, but I'm an adult when I need to be. I see nothing wrong with doing what you love, be happy while you are doing it. JAH is a cute bonus you share with us.🙂 Take care, you and JAH have fun. It's ok if he just chill. Jordan, You Rock.
