Hi Clint! A closed shoe option would be best for me, or at least sandals that have will stay on with back strap. I have lots of foot issues and was told by a foot specialist not to wear flip flips as they are so bad for your feet. Apparently your toes are forced to grip making your muscle work in unnatural ways, causing injury in the long run. I was walking barefeet in the park , but noticed people let their dogs poop (even though they pick up after them, the thought of parasites scared me) and I also had an underground wasp nest in my lawn which also scared me after I got stung! Anyway, want to earth on earth...but please work on more options..Thank you so much for all of your work.
My foot doctor also says that to me, about not wearing flip-flops… I have plantar fasciitis and it’s EXTREMELY painful and I can’t even walk across my house barefoot so I’m ALWAYS having to wear shoes or slippers…. BUT I can tell you for a fact that if you buy a quality pair of flip-flops then you are totally fine!!! I have ALWAYS stuck to wearing only the Vionic brand since this happened to my feet 7 years ago and I live in Florida so I ONLY wear flip-flops or slippers because it’s way too hot to wear tennis shoes!!! Anyways….. it’s been 3 years since your comment, I just wanted to share this info for anyone who has this issue…. Also there are more options now for “Grounding” shoes, sandals, boots etc that are QUALITY and super cute!!!

I had daily pain from years of shoveling, hoeing, planting & my Grounding Pad stopped all that pain in less than a day. But if after months, my pad is unplugged, the pain return. Has the pain been stopped, masked & not healed??

Are there any slides? I almost bought every one in my family flip-flops but out of 7 of us I'm the only one who'll wear them. Plus they've talked me into pa pair of slides, I love them. I'll probably buy 1 pair just for taking grands to the park. Do they have a smooth foot bed ? Had a pair once from Hawaii they had streacy tops and it also had like elastic going around heal. I want a pair of them , I'm so clumsy I wonder if grounding, earthing will help me become graceful. Tired of tripping unpleasantly😵😉

Maha, I can relate to that, I aswell could never bare them on my feet. But few years ago I found a pair that had an extra band across it horizontel. From the base of the little toe to the base of the big toe. I think all people have a little wider bone behind the base of the big toe, so that way the foot cant slip towards the thing that is between the toes. Main thing is ofcourse to have it under the construction of the thing that goes between the toes, otherwise it wont work. And yet these are created and sold ggrr totaly unlogical. Well from the point of view that we want comfort on our feet not only beauty. I have looked for others to buy with the same construction but no where to be found. It is so strange that no mainstreem shoedesigner has created those types cos there are so many people who have the same problem like us. Perhaps it could be possible for Earthing to create them also with a horizontal band? Would be awesome!!
@@jillylizy yes that will be great to, you can buy a strip that you can put over and under the shoe, perhaps that is something to look into. Guess it looks a bit weird when not being covered by a trouser/brook. Sorry dont know the proper word for it in English
How has it taken this long to make a shoe, flip flop, sandal, that isn't a moccasin or just a copper rivet. ESD shoes have been around forever. Just need to reduce the electrical resistance of the rubber which is too high at 1 Meg Ohm. Clint is having to pioneer this on his own. THERE IS A MARKET HERE. I WOULD LOVE A CONDUCTIVE SOLE SHOE THAT LOOKS NORMAL FOR EVERYDAY USE. Flip flops are impractical for someone living in say, Michigan. The issue here is the shoe companies don't want to do it. They don't want to be sued for electrocuting someone and they intuitively know the power brokers in the world don't want people grounded as it cuts off a HUGE revenue stream for the MEDICAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX.
Yes, it's quite a challenge on many levels. But, we're continuing to work on product development as it's so important for everyone to be grounded for as many hours as possible during the day!
@@Earthing Thank you. I purchased a pillowcase and sleepmat for my 80 y/o aunt and she started sleeping better right away and the arthritis that she said was creeping up on her knees is now gone. :) Thanks for your pioneering work. It is helping people !
I saw a different interview where they said to benefit you need to be on earth with them. I would think they would be beneficial at the times when you can't take them off outside. I'm looking forward to learning more about them!
They are conductive sandals so that when you are walking on a surface that can ground you (like dirt, grass, sand, gravel, rock, cement, etc.,) you will be grounded. If you're not walking on a conductive surface (like asphalt, vinyl, plastic, etc.) you will not be grounded.
I haven’t owned a pair of shoes since 1998. I’ve been making ghillies and flip flops from hand tanned cowhide for twenty years. Why would I want rubber on my body? That’s just ludicrous.
This is totally bullshit!!! There's no substitute for barefoot walking. When you're totally barefoot it allows your body to connect with the earth and absorb free Electrons from the earth's surface. Apart from that there are a number of sensors/ nerve endings under our feet which connects to the entire body from head to toe. When you walk on sand, gravel and tiny stones/ pebbles,our entire body gets a stimulation through these sensors. This will not happend when you're wearing any form of footwear. So, don't get carried away with these types of instruments.
Hello Hiran, Barefoot walking is fantastic! We 100% agree with you. These aren't a substitute for being barefoot, but rather a safe, grounded alternative to regular footwear if you're in a location where being barefoot isn't safe or practical. There are also people who have sensory dysregulation and the feeling of the grass or dirt isn't something they can handle, and so in those cases as well, the Earthing® flip flops are a nice alternative over not grounding at all.
