my go to bait is Bobby Garland in the black out, black and chartreuse!
Those are the kind you read about in Crappie Magazine!!!!
In my opinion the melon seed slab tail jig in 13/4”is the best thing I have ever tried on
Cajun cricket in this dirty tx water. Tuxedo is my #2
Brandon Lester what your calling black nose crappie I grew up calling Arkansas Crappie. I was told as a kid they are a hybrid. One thing I’d like to see is the best way to hunt down brush piles not using side scan or any of the newer sonar we have today. For some reason I’ve been having massive trouble locating brush for crappie. I just have the older Lowrance Hook4 the non side scan model. My go to color in the Spring is the Junebug/Chartreuse and Electric Chicken.
Great crappie video's
Great videos would love it if you'd give us a closer look at that sonar of yours
Good vid bradon
Best crappie videos on RUclips!
I’ll second that. There’s not but just a few that I can watch as far as crappie fishing goes.
Really appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
Nice. Appreciate the info. I love learning from other fellow anglers.
Nice!
Them itty-bitty garlands in mokey milk and electric chicken are my favorites especially when there finicky, good idea on the super glue, keep up the good videos .
Yum Christmas tree working fir me here in NC also I use that Cajun cricket also
Got the coffee pot pre-set going after them in the morning.
I fish a lot of dirty and off color water in northern part of PA this time of year- can’t beat black/chartreuse !
Crappie magnet Zoe's 😢Glow
Thanks for watching!
Works really well on toledo bend
Nice video! I have not tried the the itty bitty yet. On my lake they seem to bite bigger baits just about all year!
MY go to bait is the Bobby Garland Blue Thunder.. Second is the Garland Patriot. Here in South Alabama I fish the lakes off of the Mobile river and these 2 work everywhere. They also like the mayfly color. I really enjoy your shows keep em coming.
Always been a big fan of the patriot color. One of my favorites for sure. Crappie magnet makes one called heavy D that’s basically the same color and I catch a lot on it. Thanks for watching!
Purple/Chartruse works a lot for me.
That’s is a good combo as well! Thanks for watching!
I've caught some fish on that color but what's been killer for me is pink phantom and a loop knot. I can't believe what a difference that loop knot makes and pink is just about my go to color in cold water. I haven't tried it it warm water like you're fishing so I can't comment on that but a killer in colder water..thanks for the video.
Pink phantom is a great color. I like a pink jighead as well but for some reason don’t do well with it until the water gets cold. Thanks for watching!
Loving all this crappie content. Just subscribed
Them are some good crappie! I usually have the best luck with a Junebug/chartruese Slider grub. Red/chart in Bobby Garland’s.
I’m starting to use a lot more orange for crappie. It’s weird but they like it. Thanks for watching!
@@BrandonLesterFishing I’ve had good luck with orange myself.
Nice video it’s so addicting it keeps me sharp with with my live scope I’d rather crappie fish now
Electric chicken
Love your crappie videos, my best color is monkey milk. Don't know why it solid on the coosa river (Weiss lake and neeley Henry. Even in dirty water
Green and yellow is a staple in my box. Think Green Bay. No idea why that one works but sometimes that's all they'll bite.
I’ll have to try that combo! Thanks for watching
What knot are you using to join the leader? I have trouble with the light line.
An FG knot is best but difficult to tie. If I’m not rushed for time I’ll tie the FG but on the water I tie a double uni knot. About a 5-6ft leader is plenty.
When I go through my go to colors, monkey milk and blue ice, I go straight for cajun cricket. Another one is Vegas. I can’t understand why, but they work.
Never tried the Vegas color, may have to try some. Thanks for watching!
Blue grass.. Bobbie Garland
That’s a good one for sure. Thanks for watching!
What rod are u using in this video ? Length ?
I know you’re a bass fisherman, but you make some awesome crappie videos. No doubt I enjoy watching your videos.
Thanks. I have a lot of fun with the crappie and hope I can inspire a few people to get out and fish for them. Thanks for watching!
Try Bonehead jigs...slick neon!
Today purple and pink shades was the ticket
Thanks for watching!
Good video Brandon what your favorite rod length so far mermaid plain white electric chicken
Probably the 6’6” light but they’re all great! Thanks for watching
Nice video enjoyed it crappie Dave out 👍🏾
The electric chicken will catch ‘em!
Can you identify the particular lake you are fishing ? Thanks!
I don’t usually tell what lake I’m on, but this pattern will work about anywhere. Thanks for watching!
Thanks! Best of luck to you in your career,
