Thought Jimmy's observations on Miku & rhythm section were on point, especially in places where they are in a backing position, but still very active. Hoping to catch them live myself, only discovered them only a few months after they had visited Philadelphia. Hopefully they tour the U.S. again, although I would not be surprised if they didn't visit our European friends first because they haven't been there in a while.
They ARE diverse. Whether in the studio or on stage, there will be almost no technical/playing errors of any real significance. Again, to La Gringa: all due respect and hats off!! Band Maid Forever!!!!!

When you guys mentioned "going to the maid cafe", it reminded me that Band-Maid's video "After Life" shows the maid cafe that Miku used to work at, called the "At Home Cafe". 5th floor of the main building, according to some of the Japanese comments.

Almost everyone praises MISA, Kanami, Akane or Saiki all the time...but the genius behind it all is Miku and I'm happy you highlighted her. Miku should get an award for getting this band together!

Awesome, as usual. But I have to hear that again some times to know if I really like it. I did that for Black Hole, and it ended up one of my favorites. We will see. Sometimes they area bit too complex to get the first listening. At least for me. Maybe I am slow?
Tequila Jimmy and Gringa, I'm glad you got to react to a new release by our Maids. Typically, they will rock your soul. Miku and MISA are doing more of that at their live concerts, which is great. Also, the camera keeps cutting away from Mincho's new signature PRS. Eventually, they will let the world get a good glance at it (not that we can afford one). I understand they will run between 10k and 14K if they go on sale. I wonder how many BPM's the drumming for the song is. It might rival those of "Black Hole". The anime that the song is being used for is very popular in France, thus Saiki's use of "ou la, la, la, la" in the lyrics. I wonder if they are going to tour France this fall or winter with this song on their setlist. Gringa might have to buy and wear a "French Maid costume " next.
There’s a photo of it now - tiger-striped. This song is the first time we hear it if it is indeed the new guitar. (I am not positive as the video was filmed probably around February 2024.)

S'ok. I'll listen it a few more times to see if it grows on me. Not every song can slap for every person is an unfortunate reality, and it doesn't make it a bad song. Looking forward to their next album. Their collabs and more recent anime themes are not their best work for my personal tastes.
