Cosmos was a favorite tv show back in the 1980s as was the original Cosmos book that came out at the same time. I love this as a concept for creation of a guitar.
Hi, sure. I used foam board as it cuts easier. I basically used the radius of each fret. So the largest arch has a radius of 25.5. The second arch has a radius of 25.5- 1.43 (as determined by the ratio)= 24.1.. The one difference that I made is I chose only the archs that corresponded to the scale I wanted to use. So root, 3rd, 4th etc. The other change I made was I divided each radius by 2 because the cicles were too big. This made the curves smaller, but more useful while preserving the ratio. lmk if that answers your question. Thanks for watching the video!- R
At 4:42 I could hear planet crashing thunder. Sweet design, super quality vid. Fibonacci vibes and so well thought out. Cheers! There is a possibility it may ring in a special way, 🤔
Love the thought process for the design. It looks fantastic and is proof of concept so far. Looking forward to seeing this guitar being built!
Thanks so much, it's been fun

Thanks. I fell in love with that series as a kid. It's been so much fun incorporating it into a design.

Thanks bro. And thanks for your help!
lol at 7:33 🤣 Cool concept and an interesting shape you ended up with too
Thanks
I'm SUPER picky about shape, but I love this design.
Dude, hearing that from you is everything. I really appreciate that. Thanks!
Can you give a little more detail on how you made the arches? Thanks
