When I saw the email from ColourPop that they released a NBA collab, it’s a brilliant idea, because if people wear make-up to whatever sports team’s game, people will wear make-up colors based on the team’s colors. Since there are baseball teams fighting to be in the World Series (Lets go Dodgers! 👏👏👏👏👏), I wish Colourpop can release a MLB collab now! 3 years ago, I wore blue, gray & white eye shadow & blue mascara for the Dodger game. My make-up looked fierce!
I really like this collection. I don’t think it’s random at all. I’m definitely one to do my makeup to match an event. It’s fun! Love the look you created. 💜
whewww when you started applying the eyeshadow that purple looked paaaaatchy. this collection is extremely cute and different from anything they’ve done before but i feel like they don’t give enough time and attention to each collection they just keep pushing our products without really analyzing how similar most of the things they are dropping now look similar to other older collections (older being 3 months ago)
Not a sports fans if they do football next I definitely want the NY Jets palette. For this collection all the color stories are VERY pretty I can see ppl really enjoying these. I might pick up the Miami Heat one just for the fall tones 🧡
You're probably right, there are plenty of fans to support this release. Couldn't pay me to watch sports, buuuut I do really like the large selection of bright colors. Might have to pick up Lakers to expand purple and yellow collections. Very cute look, enjoyed watching. ❤

My hometown team is the Timberwolves, honestly I think a palette in those colors would be nice (blue, gray and green) but I am not holding my breath. I actually like the looks of the Celtics palettes but being that it's non vegan as someone stated below, I will pass. I could pick up the Lakers palette though since it is vegan, and years ago they used to be the Minneapolis Lakers, and the colors are the same as the Vikings, for the most part anyway. I’m a basketball fan and bought both the Lakers and Bulls palettes along with that new mascara. It would have been nice to do a Nicks,76ers or even a Spurs palette, though.

I'm not a huge fan of basketball even though I played it when I was younger. If I had to choose a favorite basketball team it would be the Knicks but instead I'm much more of a baseball fan. My favorite team is the Yankees.
I absolutely LOVE sports but I want the NHL, NFL, & MLB ... one thing at a time, I guess lol. Love the color story of the Mavericks but I'm not into the NBA 😕
I totally get why makeup and sports go together because colour and team spirit but it still feels odd to me. It feels so regionally specific, you have to either love NBA or your home team has to be invovled...? Idk, maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like internationals won't care for this one as much. That said, everything is very cute and on theme and people who do want this will love it.

It supposed to go like this, “Let’s go Dodgers! 👏👏 (1 second pause) 👏👏👏”. Fun fact about my Lakers connection! In 2002, I literally bumped into Magic Johnson at LAX! 😲🤩. My sister were walking up to an employee standing next to the escalator, heading to the boarding area. All of a sudden I bumped into a man. I look up at the man.... it’s Magic Johnson, who asked the guy next to the escalator, where the bathroom is. My sister & I were bummed that, we ran out of film in our camera, so that we can’t take a picture of Magic. We also don’t have a pen, so we can get his autograph. 🤬 When the guy at the escalator escorted my sis & me to the medal detector area, & told his co-workers that he saw Magic Johnson, the co-workers don’t believe him. I said to the guy’s co-workers, “I should know, because it’s true!”. I have a former co-worker friend, who met Magic, & told my sis & I that he’s a nice man.
I can’t even believe the vegan/non-vegan-ness of the palettes. I had predicted three wouldn’t be vegan and hoped the other three would be, as two were the teams I liked. Both of the ones I wanted aren’t vegan! And two I was sure wouldn’t be are?! How can a mostly green palette (Celtics) and a blue/gray/neutral palette (Mavericks) be non-vegan while a purple/yellow palette (Lakers) and mostly red palette (Bulls) be vegan?! In what universe does that make sense?!?! I was really hoping the Celtics palette would be vegan, as it looked kind of like the Tinkerbelle palette, which also inexplicably wasn’t. I’m getting really frustrated/annoyed with Colourpop and their seeming disregard for vegan options. I mean, if they can do purples and reds vegan, they can do greens and blues and neutrals, so why aren’t they?! And why aren’t they consistent? Very disappointed… again…
