      He's simply added ornamentation, as any baroque-era player was expected to do.

      @@thomaskendall452 Yes; but occasionally he rewrites passages, for no perceptible reason. The right to make textual alterations does not mean that all such alterations are good. At one point, the printed version lacks a measure of the recorded version. This addition makes sense; but I query the discrepancy. In addition, I question the interpretation of some of the embellishment symbols and the 2-note termination of a few trills, where an anticipation would seem to be required.

      Obviously a different edition was used for the performance. End of story. I use what is available on IMSLP.
