Despite having a depleted roster, scholarship restrictions, and playing in a harder conference, Josh Heuple has a better winning record than Steve sarkisian in the last 3 seasons. He now has depth on both sides of the ball, an insanely talented WR unit, and a blue chip gun slinger behind center. But sure, Tennessee is finishing 7th in the sec this year 😂
I think we need to get 10 wins this year. Josh heupel needs to prove he is the elite coach Tennessee wants. Beating bama and Oklahoma will be huge wins for heupel. You lose more than 3 people are going to start questioning him if he can’t coach.
@@XtremeEffect he took over a dumpster fire, before he got the job 30 players transferred out that’s 30% of your team and in the SEC the toughest conference in the country, That’s a big hit. It’s not like that teams loaded with four and five stars. He’s doing good with what he’s got.
@@utcnc7mm Time will tell if Hooker made him look like a genius. There was a lot of atrocious coaching last year against Austin Peay, Florida, Bama and Mizzou
@@XtremeEffect yeah, just remember hooker was at Virginia Tech and didn’t look that good there and Heupel was the offensive coordinator at Missouri and made their quarterback look good as well as the one at the school He was coaching before Tennessee. There’s only one Saban, ain’t nobody gonna live up to his standards but if we can win consistently and he can get us in playoffs on a regular basis, I’ll be happy

Fans are fickle they will complain regardless, I've seen it for years.
He's not been much better than Butch Jones at the moment. Wasted an entire season on Joe Milton. He's lucky Pruitt had Hooker here

If Tennessee is “supposed to lose to Bama” this year with it being at home and 1st. Year new coach. Then when are they supposed to beat them?
