Every Monday I go to my local Walgreens and pick up some Pokemon packs. I saw these in a display tonight with 3 pack boxes of silver tempest and lost origin. I went with the silver tempest. Skipped the scam, I was so proud. 😂
Out of the 30 packs i have bought. I only pulled one evo skies and one darkness ablaze. I haven't seen any vintage pack. They charge 10 bucks for most packs that dont even cost 7 bucks. No i know has gotten a vintage pack either. I call bullshit and a scam. They're legally able to scam you and it's bs
We saw a machine at the mall where you can pay $1 for a random card with pictures of Moonbreon, Chonkachu and Sleeping T-tar on the side and I've never seen such a bold scam.
Had a buddy pull a base set booster out of one of these. That wasn’t the craziest part though.. the cards inside were moisture damaged and all stuck together. Talk about a roller coaster of emotion. It had an Alakazam in it too
I wish there was a little data at the end like: how many packs opened, how many reverse holos, how many packs from each era/series, and 3 most expensive cards pulled or something. Could also make for a short to show how worthless these are.

Might be a good idea to open lightning sets instead of these mystery packs. 20 dollars for four packs and a bonus card. Thats what i got my Moonbreon from.
Getting Evo Skies out of these is pretty cool, but I guarantee the retail price is not worth the value pulled unless maybe it’s Burning Shadows? Love how they don’t even put V cards in as the “foil” 😂
they dont specify if its seeded per booster box or or per booster pack, they just say seed 1 in 10, without any context. i did the calculations, if you take the price of a booster box $110, and the number of packs per box 36, and the price of fossil booster pack on ebay $170, and a profit margin of 180%, and the desired price per mystery pack, you get a seeded ratio of roughly 1:360 packs, or 1:10 booster boxes. its 100% a scam to buy from MJ holding
So I started collection my first series of pokémon, the 151 collection. Should I keep the EX'es in toploaders or should I only store ilustraion to hyper rares in toploaders?
I usually just wait until I have enough store points or a coupon before buying one of these mystery packs, and then the gamble is a much more tolerable $7-ish. The mystery is part of the fun! ...Maybe? Kinda?
It’s been great getting the smaller V heroes tins from Walmart the last few week for $14.98 with 2 packs of evolving, fusion and brilliant. Way better deal 😂

I've been thinking.. all those specialty sets. Shouldn't the tin cases (Box of 4) be much more expensive giving that they give 20 packs more than the booster bundle case for the same price? BB Case = $350 at release = 60 packs Tin case of 4 = $350-360 = 80 packs Or are people just dumb? Please correct me if I'm wrong or people are just hype buying?

I actually past these up, (never good at mystery packs or bags or boxes etc...) but might just get a couple of these especially if they have Evolving Skies!!
Evo skies is 1/5 and burning shadows is 1/10. Those are the "chase". I get these for 6.99, the wife and I get a kick out of them usually a bit under par but occasionally break even.
I just don't think these Businesses selling Mystery Packs are honest enough to actually put expensive chase packs in them or even come close to the odds they represent for them. Thanks for the content Rev.

These, if ever found on Oahu, retail for $8.99 at our Walgreens. Pretty hefty price for what you'll most likely get in packs.

Burning Shadows HAS to be a chase pack, the fossil is probably a 1/100000 if it even has a chance
They totally should crack down on these scams and force them to be accurate with their pull claims
They will still weigh out the chase packs so really can’t stop them guys from scamming

Those packs are a complete scam. I avoid buying packs like that in stores. Especially since someone might have already opened and returned them
Putting packs on the front that you can’t actually pull should be illegal

These are definitely fun to open once or twice, but not good for chasing packs.
