I'm pretty sure that MJH just buys damaged products which is why they have a ton of codes for boxes. They also probably get their classic or "chase" packs from people who most likely weigh them. In other words, MJH isn't run by people collecting cards. They would buy whatever is cheaper and in bulk.
That makes soooo much sense !! I always wondered the possibilities
From what I’ve been told these are made from damaged boxes from MJs distribution inventory that they already own. Example, a pallet of ETBs falls over, the boxes are damaged but the packs inside are still ok so they repurpose them into these mystery boxes/packs.
Retailers like Walgreens are often asked to send back unsold boxes to MJ if they didn’t sell in the time allotted. So it seems they also break down unsold collection boxes to repurpose into mystery boxes as well.
Local Card Stores also are able to sell bulk back to MJ and Excel, id imagine that’s how they make the bulk packs.
Yeah from what ive read from people who have contacted them and asked they say they take any damaged products and use the packs for their mystery stuff. If thats true I would say that's pretty much as close to false advertising you can get without getting in trouble. Showing the rare packs on the front like fossil implies they have damaged products sitting around from 20/25 years ago?? Seems like bs to me. Can they have 500,000 mystery boxes and take a 3pack Blister of fossil and throw it against the wall and mix them in so they can show those packs on the front?😂

These are borderline criminal. There are no chase packs. And most are 300% msrp... you cna watch someone open 1000 of these and hit nothing. They definitely weigh the packs too. I know you said they probably don't but they have so many other mystery products that they need hits for. These guys should literally be in prison
Any loose packs are suspect and mostly weighed I don't buy any. Think about it where are they getting the loose packs most ones you see for sell are ones people broke open boosters etc weighed out the hits then the sell all the non hits and idiots are buying them. So yeah why wouldn't some less honest people do that makes pack openings a lot more affordable. Old vintage packs same shit with even more risk it's an almost certainty they have been weighed. Even sleeved booster packs I seen possible to be weighed as well.

bruh, Silver Tempest individual packs were 11.99 at my walgreens in DFW, Texas. Why are they inflated? the hits are low price too

Don't buy these... they are never worth it , there are no chase packs. That burning shadows was a "chase pack" which is worth what you pay for one of these.
@user-fq8zg6ow4e we actually pulled two long crimp packs out of the ones that had the gym challenge Sabrina art in the cover of it. We pulled gym heroes AND Team Rocket. In one day. We have our thoughts on this stuff. Yeah it’s been hitting like trash ever since but that one time was enough to keep us going. If it isn’t the oldest vintage I see stuff like phantom forces, furious fists and other sets being put in them. I do believe it’s 1:10 display cases stores get that actually have a “chase pack” it being that x&y stuff and down
question for you! I’ve been collecting for a while, but want to start buying cards, grading them and selling them! I’m having trouble sourcing/buying good quality cards that might be PSA or CGC 10s! Any tips on where to buy/source cards from?
I buy most of my singles at local shops so I can see them up close. I’d try local first then check out tcgplayer but even if a card is listed as NM or mint it could still not be the same as what psa would grade it so buying online is kinda hard.
These packs had to have been weighed, there is no way you didn't pull anything.

I saw a video on twitter of a Gym Challenge pack pulled from that last round of mystery packs so I'm sure there's some fossil packs in these but no clue how many.
As long as you trust the creator of the video then I I'd assume it's possible. The best luck I've ever had with these packs are guardians rising and burning shadows

Hey man, great videos as always! I know these 3rd party packs are a gamble, but do you think they are tampered with? I know you mentioned that these companies possibly weigh the packs, but I can see where the wrapper looks like it's been resealed at the crimp (worn and discolored) at the top left, especially at 2:55! I've gotten tampered packs before with a Champions Path ETB (clearly were opened and resealed) and looked just like that on the same place of the pack. Hate to see you lose money on scam packs, It's best to stick with the official stuff!
No I don't think they weigh packs. I was commenting on how other people think that. I've had great pulls from these in the past.

Absolutely loved the video... loved the vibe, the energy was calming and easy to chill with... but what I can't understand... is how you could spend over 110 dollars on garbage, pull nothing, and then IMMEDIATELY think "I've GOTTA go back and grab some more".... your attitude towards the quality of product, was dishonest and misleading... you almost made a fan out of me dude, shame... work on respecting your subs and community, the transparency could do nothing but help man.. trust
The transparency is that you can see how bad they are and choose to buy them or not buy them, just like every Pokémon card product. For years I've talked about how much I like mystery boxes because they provides an extra layer of excitement for me.
