By making ralsei admit that he never cared for us you take away any sorrow we should feel after defeating him. I feel the fight would be more emotional if he said something along the lines of
“I know you arent kris yet i treated you with kindness”
“and in return you go behind my back and murder people? why? I trusted you”
Its a bit more heartbreaking knowing that ralsei is aware of the power we hold and trusted we would use it for good only for us to break that trust and kill people.
Susie trusted you! Now tell me what did you do to kris!
i agree, the fact ralsei didnt even care in the first place doesnt give any remorse for your actions, nothing to even care about

I think the twist should stay, but maybe change the ending
Instead of just making Ralsei plead, he should reveal that even though he was pretending to care at first, he eventually did become attached and even trusted for a second that Kris wouldn’t kill everyone, it would add a lot of character development and maybe some replayability, I think it could make sense, Ralsei doesn’t have nearly as many exaggerated moments on kindness in chapter 2 as he had in chapter 1 (seriously, he tells us hitting him is ok at the beginning of the chapter).
It would also, of course, make his death more tragic, he trusted Kris way to much and he probably would feel extremely betrayed and guilty for essentially dooming his people in his last moments, plus he would actually have cared for Susie’s death
Agreed, it seems very out of character for ralsei. Although the twist is interesting concept wise
Everyone talking about this mod, but we can apreciate how Ralsei acted like asriel in pacifist route when he sayed, let me win, and in genocide, after saying the truth and some stuff, you killed everyone, asriel in flowey, gets very scared and says that he doesnt want to be killed

The "Just stop doing this... AND LET ME WIN!" gave me huge flashbacks to a certain Rainbow goat.
I believe he knows that Kris isn't doing this, and that he wants to kill us, he knows of our dangerous power.
This is the best version of this encounter I've seen, I just wish that the attacks were tougher and did more damage, otherwise, this is amazing.

Kris is messed up even without us, so I feel like they’d do this anyway.
Despite his true behavior and actions, Ralsei DOES want what's best for Darkners, even if he has to take over the light world to do so. He also seems to truly care about Kris and Susie... too bad Kris isn't there at the moment.
If the prophecy was all a lie... does that mean the Roaring was a lie, too? That might make a bit of sense.
I really like how Ralsei isn't one dimensionally evil in this.

This is so sad because tbh, Ralsei would be the perfect and most heartbreaking villain… I know for a fact that Toby is getting us to have the best relationship with Ralsei just for us to fight him in the end

You know, I don't think means the stuff he says here and that's why he was "missing" his attacks at the end. I think much like Sans he understands that Kris is gone and you are just a player. So he plays to the "Ralsei is secretly evil" fan theory as an act.

Ehhh... I don't understand why everyone thinks Ralsei is gonna end up being evil. There's really no evidence for it. At most he's just naive.
Ignoring that, this generally is a neat idea for some sort of AU or something.
he knows about the buttons like when he says to press X to run or Z (I wouldn't mind usually but Susie intervenes asking what those are thus Ralsei actually said it), he knows about the classroom despite never getting out of the dark world apparently, he gets into the other dark world in chp2 somehow despite that requiring to go tp the overworld despite him not be able to as far as we know
I am not saying he is 100% evil but there is evidence he is hiding something
The Z and X thing is just a tutorial, so it doesn’t count too much for lore. Ralsei could also just be something Kris has on them that isn’t shown in the inventory (their clothes aren’t in the inventory) and it’s never said whether or not they can “see”, even when they’re in the ball.
@@yoshi_705 I personally believe Kris just carries the red horns they wore as a kid around wherever they go. It would make sense, what with the heavy resemblance to Asriel and the pink-ish horns.
I honestly think that he might be a little bit sussy after the way he explained why Lancer turned to stone with emotions at all, he seemed completely fine or him, heck he even seemed a little bit happy(?). This isn't even including the part were he just flat-out ignored the whole Spamton Neo deal.
@@likehowdudehelp Again, I think he's just naive. He thinks the best way to deal with those issues is to just not think about it. I mean, he only met another person the day prior to Chapter 2 happening, he's not exactly gonna be the best socially.

phase 2b is better then 2a. First off : THE FUCKING MUSIC AND THE FIRE! Second off: IT'S BETTER THEN RED SUSIE SHIT
This is the closest thing we will get to an Asgore genocide battle that isn't an Asgore genocide battle
- Just wants to make their people happy
- Completely aware of your sins
- Boss monsters with fire magic
- Plan to make their people happy that would have not so good consequences for the people living under the sunlight
- Death afterwards
- Epic theme music
this is cool! though i have some problems:
- Ralsei is evil. we have no context of this actually being the case, so its all fanon, though can be easily proven false by the same points people say its true.
- Kris is The Knight. another case of fanon. we have no proof of this being the case either. sure, Kris opened the fountain in the end of Chp. 2, but whos to say all lightners with determination can't do this?
other than those, this is really cool.
update: according to ch. 2, it *is* canon any determined lightner can create a fountain.
Well it's a fangame, so all of it is fanon. It's just a fun game based on what the two chapters gave us. This isn't meant to be the official and definitive answer on what's going on.

Making ralsei a twist villain is a strange choice but this makes this two villains fighting each other which is pretty fun tbh!

Hmm, i've been having some issues with crashes after Ralsei and Susie's 2B phases on the easy difficulty. I think that the attack in 3:13 should have a better defined hitbox or a VERY slightly more lenient pattern, also can you make a consistent travel speed for every bounding box? (Sometimes it feels like im going super fast or super slow, the bounding box can also damage you at times...)

This is making me think of a fight where it's this, but Kris escapes from whatever's controlling him (probably us), starting to speak and act in defense of those he really cares about.. Whoever is left in Kris' place, is a unknown shadowy entity (NOT Chara), Kris' soul turns YELLOW like in the Spamton NEO fight, Susie readies her axe and Ralsei prepares a magic attack. WE have to fight The Fun Gang now, imagine that. VS. The Fun Gang. Phases 2 and 3 are different based on who you kill first or second out of Kris, Susie and Ralsei. This takes place after Chapter 2, but considering we were bamboozled by Toby Fox thinking Chapter 2 was going to be like this, consider this fan game concept an AU.

Not really. Ralsei is the only Darkner that knows the exact location of things in the Light World.
@@ItsB1998 we see a lot of charcters in both deltarune, undertale, or just simply in a lot of rpg breaking the 4th wall just as a tutorial or to help you if you are lost in the game.

1:49 Ralsei, being the conscientious type, wouldn't use "of" in place of "have." A minor gripe, but I'm sure Noelle, Berdly, and Alphys would back me up. Cuz you know, Nerdular Nerdance and all that sort of thing.
