I remember crying during this whole fight. I had already read it in the manga and was impatiently waiting for it but it blew my expectations. Visually beautiful. Sonically beautiful. Emotionally beautiful. Quite literally the ultimate package for an anime.

I love how this song is called "Kamado Tanjiro's Song" because the lyrics definitely described his personality and his goals. I also love how the lyrics are what people have said to describe Tanjiro before. Like how the lyrics "A sound so beautiful that it makes you want to cry" is what Zenitsu said when he met him. The lyrics of "Even if all is lost and all is failing, you have no choice but to keep living" is also what Tanjiro said to the guy who lost his fiance in his first mission. This is honestly just so good. Edit: this got many likes so fun fact: I actually just realized this when Tanjiro's voice actor mentioned it in the Kimetsu Radio where they shared thoughts about ep 19 together with Zenitsu's va. In the radio, Tanjiro's VA talked about small details abt ep 19 too that it made me smile bcs he sounds so passionate telling it to Zenitsu's VA, it shows just how he loves KNY too.
And also it says "Even if you lose everything, there is something to protect" Which describes that Tanjiro lost his family but he still has to protect Nezuko
This song is insane. I didn't really feel anything reading this scene in the manga, but watching it in the anime, with this masterpiece playing, I got kinda emotional and even teared up a little. Magical.
Yeah I think demon slayer is just a way better anime than a manga. The manga to me seems very mid, but the Anime is legendary. I wish I does have a legendary manga and Anime like Dragon ball, One piece etc but I can settle for an amazing anime lol

Tanjiro as a main character is so unique to me. He's such a kind hearted guy with such empathy, I sure don't question why I love him sm. He's kind but not too kind to spare the lives of the demons that have been living and killing people for a long time but also he's kind enough to mourn and wish the demons to be reincarnated in a world where demons doesn't exists. He understands that demons are also just a victim of circumstances but that does not stop him to do what is right: kill them. He also give so much importance of his family bonds that he's so admirable. Idk but I love this type of character sm. He may be overshadowed by some cool badass characters but for me, he still remains the best.

The worst part about this is that we'll never be able to experience it for the first time again. I envy everyone who will eventually pick up this anime, and reach this once in a lifetime moment. Yes, it still gives me chills, and sometimes I tear up at how majestic everything is, but nothing will beat the first time.

If you've read the manga, hinokami kagura is a dance that yoriichi taught the kamados, the hinokami kagura is sun breathing in the form of a dance, the kamados memorized the dance perfectly and passed it on for generations, not knowing it can be used in battle. Tanjiro is just the first since then to use hinokami kagura in battle.

When Gotōge Koyoharu first watched this scene in ep 19, they wept due to how well it was done. It must be incredibly fulfilling as a mangaka to have your work adapted by people who are as passionate about it as you. Many mangaka don’t experience that.

This song, the episode it was in. Holy fucking shit, this is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. This song is calm yet radiates power it tells so much about the characters and fits perfect for the fight and animation style. The vocals, the lyrics. If you don't understand Japanese I suggest you watch the English version or have subtitles, those lyrics are tear-jerking. Superb voice acting, legendary animations every single bit falls together. I get a chill down my spine every time I watch Tanjiro vs Rui. God, I love anime.

Something that is different from the translation this video has and the one the internet shows is the line "even if you lose, even if you fail". From the episode when he says this to the kid who lost his fiancee the line should be "even with all you lost" which I believe is a lot sadder and a lot more relatable
Decided to give Demon Slayer a shot after hearing so much about it and when I saw this episode and heard this song, I WAS SHOOK. I was so hyped at Tanjiro's rage and determination to save Nezuko. Absolutely LEGENDARY.

I had finished AOT at the time and wanted something else (was still pretty new to anime) and I heard about demon slayer so I checked it out. This episode I was literally in tears.. the animation, the soundtrack, the writing. Was just brilliant. I’ve really been spoiled with such good anime.
Tanjiro and Nezuko's bond is one of the most beautiful ones i've ever seen in anime or series or cinema in general. They are willing to risk their lives for one another because they are the last of their family, which makes them so strong. I can't wait to see what happens next in this story, but i'm sure these two will do amazing things.
I can't help but get really sad or even cry a little just thinking about how cruel it was for them to have their family brutally killed. Just think about that, It's a pain you can't measure.

I remember watching this for the first time. Back then, no one I knew was into anime that much, and no one told me about the existence of some insanely beautiful episode in demon slayer. The moment Tanjiro's sword broke, and he unleashed the final form (the water dragon), I thought that was it, he was just going to win like a normal mc- and then he was at a dead end, started to remember his father, and this song started playing. And it continued, until he was this close to win, and I who rarely gets moved, did actually feel something. I want to experience it again 😔

@@andrewguy3717 she got that from urokodaki sakonji (you mean the bamboo in her mouth right? sorry English is not my first language) the point is it when after tanjiro ad nezuko faced the first demon at that temple after that sakonji sheltered them and gave nezuko that.. I'm not actually sure which chapter was that since I started reading the manga at chapter 66 and that happened way before (sesosn 1)

How does something so soft spoken just sound incredibly epic and give you goosebumps the instant she starts singing, and makes you wanna jump out of your seat and just watch with every fiber of your being with all the emotions in your body and mind?? Its truly indescribable. Power of music.

Unfortunately you started your anime journey with high-end show. but there is animes that are must watch. Attack On titan, My hero Academia, Tokyo Ghoul, Death Note. And wait for Bleach Remaster. For Shounen anime: Naruto/Boruto especially now boruto is kinda considered high-end with their animations.

When Kazumi yell at Tanjiro "how can a kid like you understand pain" then he looks at his hands and his affectionate face and realizes that he carries much greater pain inside yet he smiles, after it Kazumi breaks down and starts apologizing to him! You might think that's a trivial scene, but that scene broke me into pieces! It reminded me of how many times I misjudged and blamed people for their behaviour and vice versa without understanding what they are really going through! Please let's all be better to each other! That's how we all protect that something we have!

I never watched anime, I wasn't going to give it a try but I finally did and it was demon slayer which was recommended by my cousin and oh boy am i truly very grateful that I gave it a try. I never expected anime to be this good, this is one of the BEST things I have ever watched in my life.
Nezuko is different! She will never kill anyone! - Tanjiro All of my family members were killed and my sister had been turned into a demon. Nezuko has never devoured anyone and she never will! - Tanjiro I just love those parts
I'm still annoyed about how so many people shat on this moment, saying "it's nothing new, we've seen moments like this before." Demon Slayer isn't trying to do anything new. It's trying to do everything well. And it's succeeding. Demon Slayer is one of the first anime I've seen in ages that manages to have a pair of siblings who genuinely love each other without them wanting to f*ck each other. It's one of the first Shonen anime I've seen where the protagonist is kind and compassionate (even to his enemies) without being loud and bombastic, which makes him much more relatable in my opinion. Demon Hunter isn't some overly complicated 5d chess match or an edgy murder spree. It doesn't need to be. It's a story about good guys fighting bad guys for good reasons. That's it. Luckily, ever since Mugen Train, I've been seeing less and less complaints. Good to see people are starting to recognize how good this show is. Wow, this comment turned out longer than I intended. Sorry for the rant.

@@ranmo2549 There is extremely no payoff for the overarching story. Even after the story completion most of the things feel incomplete, or I would say... underwhelming. There is absolutely no lore other than the curse mark. No world building. About the plot, it is very repetitive. I'm not saying that's the problem here. Like, One Piece suffers from this in some of the Post-timeskip arcs, but since the overaching storyline, world building and lore is magnificent, it works for it.
2:10 my god that bass is so powerful. This entire song is just amazing in general even without context of the episode. There is an overwhelming feeling of triumph in this song that overtakes the listener that I can’t describe well enough. At times it even sounds desperate and sad.

Nezuko reminded me of my sister. She has mental confusion and symptoms of schizo. When she got confused and she started fighting against herself to control her mind, me and my parents crying. When met psychiatrist, psychiatrist said her brain is okay and she doesn’t have any health problems. It has been few weeks and now she’s getting better and back to her normal self.
That image of Tanjiro holding Nezuko is so precious! It's like he's saying, "Don't worry your big brother's got you, I will always protect you. I love you Nezuko."

I used to listen to this song when i was a child; it gave me strength to live and to pass through the hards phases of my life. I love how this song is called "Kamado Tanjiro's Song" because the lyrics definitely described his personality and his goals. I also love how the lyrics are what people have said to describe Tanjiro before. Like how the lyrics "A sound so beautiful that it makes you want to cry" is what Zenitsu said when he met him. The lyrics of "Even if all is lost and all is failing, you have no choice but to keep living" is also what Tanjiro said to the guy who lost his fiance in his first mission. This is honestly just so good.
Edit: this got many likes so fun fact: I actually just realized this when Tanjiro's voice actor mentioned it in the Kimetsu Radio where they shared thoughts about ep 19 together with Zenitsu's va. In the radio, Tanjiro's VA talked about small details abt ep 19 too that it made me smile bcs he sounds so passionate telling it to Zenitsu's VA, it shows just how he loves KNY too.

Tanjiro as a main character is so unique to me. He's such a kind hearted guy with such empathy, I sure don't question why I love him sm. He's kind but not too kind to spare the lives of the demons that have been living and killing people for a long time but also he's kind enough to mourn and wish the demons to be reincarnated in a world where demons doesn't exists. He understands that demons are also just a victim of circumstances but that does not stop him to do what is right: kill them. He also give so much importance of his family bonds that he's so admirable. Idk but I love this type of character sm. He may be overshadowed by some cool badass characters but for me, he still remains the best.

The worst part about this is that we'll never be able to experience it for the first time again. I envy everyone who will eventually pick up this anime, and reach this once in a lifetime moment. Yes, it still gives me chills, and sometimes I tear up at how majestic everything is, but nothing will beat the first time.

If you've read the manga, hinokami kagura is a dance that yoriichi taught the kamados, the hinokami kagura is sun breathing in the form of a dance, the kamados memorized the dance perfectly and passed it on for generations, not knowing it can be used in battle. Tanjiro is just the first since then to use hinokami kagura in battle.

They are willing to risk their lives for one another because they are the last of their family, which makes them so strong. I Still Get Goosebumps When I Remember The Fight Between Tanjiro And Rui It Was Really Legendary. The Rage And Anger That Tanjiro Had Was Truly Epic.
I remember watching this for the first time. Back then, no one I knew was into anime that much, and no one told me about the existence of some insanely beautiful episode in demon slayer. The moment Tanjiro's sword broke, and he unleashed the final form (the water dragon), I thought that was it, he was just going to win like a normal mc- and then he was at a dead end, started to remember his father, and this song started playing. And it continued, until he was this close to win, and I who rarely gets moved, did actually feel something. I want to experience it again 😔

@@andrewguy3717 she got that from urokodaki sakonji (you mean the bamboo in her mouth right? sorry English is not my first language) the point is it when after tanjiro ad nezuko faced the first demon at that temple after that sakonji sheltered them and gave nezuko that.. I'm not actually sure which chapter was that since I started reading the manga at chapter 66 and that happened way before (sesosn 1)

When Kazumi yell at Tanjiro "how can a kid like you understand pain" then he looks at his hands and his affectionate face and realizes that he carries much greater pain inside yet he smiles, after it Kazumi breaks down and starts apologizing to him! You might think that's a trivial scene, but that scene broke me into pieces! It reminded me of how many times I misjudged and blamed people for their behaviour and vice versa without understanding what they are really going through! Please let's all be better to each other! That's how we all protect that something we have!

Tanjiro's bond with Nezuko makes me cry. Tanjiro is incredibly kindhearted and good, as well as strongwilled. Everything I love in a hero. The ending of episode 19 actually made me tear up 🥺❤️

I'm still annoyed about how so many people shat on this moment, saying "it's nothing new, we've seen moments like this before."
Demon Slayer isn't trying to do anything new. It's trying to do everything well.
And it's succeeding.
Demon Slayer is one of the first anime I've seen in ages that manages to have a pair of siblings who genuinely love each other without them wanting to f*ck each other.
It's one of the first Shonen anime I've seen where the protagonist is kind and compassionate (even to his enemies) without being loud and bombastic, which makes him much more relatable in my opinion.
Demon Hunter isn't some overly complicated 5d chess match or an edgy murder spree. It doesn't need to be.
It's a story about good guys fighting bad guys for good reasons. That's it.
Luckily, ever since Mugen Train, I've been seeing less and less complaints. Good to see people are starting to recognize how good this show is.

@@ranmo2549 There is extremely no payoff for the overarching story. Even after the story completion most of the things feel incomplete, or I would say... underwhelming. There is absolutely no lore other than the curse mark. No world building.
About the plot, it is very repetitive. I'm not saying that's the problem here. Like, One Piece suffers from this in some of the Post-timeskip arcs, but since the overaching storyline, world building and lore is magnificent, it works for it.
2:10 my god that bass is so powerful. This entire song is just amazing in general even without context of the episode. There is an overwhelming feeling of triumph in this song that overtakes the listener that I can’t describe well enough. At times it even sounds desperate and sad.
When that bass dropped, I got goosebumps and shed some tear. The build up was so perfect
Everything about this is perfect, the instruments, vocals, even the meaning of never giving up makes it better.

Nezuko reminded me of my sister. She has mental confusion and symptoms of schizo. When she got confused and she started fighting against herself to control her mind, me and my parents crying. When met psychiatrist, psychiatrist said her brain is okay and she doesn’t have any health problems. It has been few weeks and now she’s getting better and back to her normal self.

I used to listen to this song when i was a child; it gave me strength to live and to pass through the hards phases of my life. Now im listening to this everyday again, preparing myself to the university i worked hard since a child to study in, after all that training, after all those struggle. theres something divine in this show; i can feel the soul of it in this song. im glad it became my musical theme in all my phases, because:
