My grandfather had this disease due to Covid, diabetes and overdose of steroids is 2021. He lost his ability to see, the black fungus destroyed his optic nerve. But Alhumdulilah he had his surgery before the fungus touched his brain. Dr Mujeeb from Hamid Lateef hospital did the surgery. He’s alive Alhumdulilah and 100% mentally stable but he can’t see at all, not even light perception 🥺
