Absolutely fantastic review! It was worth watching for the amount of quality footage alone! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just bought this lens last week but i haven’t had a chance to shoot with it maybe this weekend.
    Great video just subscribed!

Great video. Your talking head shot looks fantastic. I tried out this lens at the local camera store and it's a beast. It's a really cool lens, but you definitely need to be committed

Thanks! I keep experimenting with it and I think it's finally getting to where I want it. You can actually see the evolution of the shot across my videos. Space has stayed the same just different lighting and angles.
I agree, an awesome lens but you do need to have a good use for it.

Thank you for the VIDEO centric review with this lens!
I really want to at least get some sort of polarizing filter, hopefully the lens hood will work properly with the screw on type. I have only found a few online that would fit.

Yeah that front element is huge. Hard to find filters for.

Hello, I am using a Sigma 60-600 lens attached to a Sony 7IV, but the autofocus is not good when I turn the ring during zooming in and zooming out. Please, do you know how to fix it? Please let me know if.

Perhaps an issue with the lens not being par focal? I found the autofocus to work really well so perhaps there's an issue with your lens? Might be worth seeing if you can test it with a different body.

Autofocus is great, but it goes out of focus from the moment you start turning the zoom ring until it stops.Thank you, I'll try it with another camera as you said.@@JonathanPalfrey

How would you compare it to sony 200-600? (if you have the opportunity to use both)

Sadly not had a chance to use the Sony.
I think having the 60-200mm is what makes this lens special over the 200-600mm. As I mentioned being able to go wide is especially helpful for finding the subject.
That said the Sony does allow you to use teleconverters so you could get a lot more range if needed.
Maybe if your doing wildlife and everything is far away the Sony is a better option but things like sport or events were they might come quite close to you the sigma is probably better.

@@JonathanPalfrey I have the Sony 200-600 and love it. It's my baby when photographing birds and different stages of the moon. That internal zoom is the best thing about it. So smooth, lens doesn't grow and produces sharp photos. But I can see this Sigma is the Beast for still shooters. Going from 60-600mm is nothing short of incredible. I cannot believe how much both Sigma and Tamera have done with zooms in the past 3-5 years. Love that Sony is open to 3rd party lenses, makes it the go to camera system.

PLEASE READ- SAVE SOME BUCKS!!!: Several commenters have stated the price of 105mm filters being prohibitive. Simple solution is buy (or may already own) a 95mm CPL, ND...whichever! Then purchase an inexpensive 105mm-95mm step-down ring, screw your 95mm filter onto it and screw that combo onto the front of your 60-600 OR 150-600mm Sport and there you have it! No vignetting whatsoever at any focal length/aperture setting. I even have the Sigma 105mm Protector filter on the front of this lens, then the 95mm combo and still NO VIGNETTING! I have the Canon EF mount version of this adapted to my GH6. Great lens...mostly used for video of wildlife, landscape and the moon.
