Can’t wait for my turn. It’ll be my first IM 70.3 ever!! In Cebu 2025. I have 1 year of preparation overseas. I’m hoping I’ll meet you there! Thanks for this video bai!
things i noted from this years IM as an audience not a participant this time, 1. it seems there was no international Pro mens and womens category, they usually start first (mens) after 5 mins the womens, then filipino elites, then a lull of 30 mins, after which the age groupers mass start begins.( correct me if im wrong with this observation) 😁😁 2. they now allow bikes other than a roadbike or TT bike, i saw gravel, fixie and a modified fatbike 3. as you have mentioned that mounting actions cams are not allowed but i saw one with an insta 360 mounted on a long stick that look like his bike has an antenna (guess who? 😁 he is vlogging too ) A bit of suggestion try the other disciplines on your next IM , maybe swim next year, and run the following year like what i did in 2016-2018 haha, im the slowest participant completing the swim, bike, run in three years 😁😁😂
1. Probably. I think less international athletes this year, COVID looms I suppose. 2. I think they really allowed all sorts of drop bar bikes before, except for the fixie. I heard it was not allowed, and the guy just pretended it was a single speed haha 3. haha i saw this photo! Oh well... I didn't want to put my team at risk. 4. I don't think I will ever do the swim and run haha I just don't enjoy it, but I might do a shorter distance for fun. At least it'll make a good video. "From couch to IRONMAN" lol
nice vid dude. simple request pls, maybe u could somehow translate the bisaya to filipino or english or subtitle maybe... coz i always watch ur vid, late maybe, but i watched them all. more power to ur channel and family!

You're such an inspiration, Carlo. I admire how you keep raising the bar for yourself. Thanks for this video.
I appreciate that!
i read when they built the bridge they included a bike lane for commuting? ...hope so, i will add that go my "to do" list...
Yup I read that too. Hopefully they open it soon
