I just started growing roses this year. I purchased 2 different roses and this was one of them. I love this plant so much.... it smells delightful. It's a beautiful flower AND it always surprises me with blooms from Spring to Fall??? I love it.
Congrats on starting your rose gardening adventure. PCdM is probably the rose with the most beautiful fragrance. Enjoy your roses and cheers for more to come 🌹
Wow! I did not realize how big this rose is. I still have my PCDM in a pot because I haven’t decided where to put it. I’ve only had it for a month but it has grown quite a bit. How tall and wide would you say yours is now?
I keep trimming it after every flush so far this spring, otherwise it would get too tall. I've seen that it can get as tall as 6-8ft if you let it. I prune mine twice each spring due to blindshoots as well. Right now, after my latest pruning, it's about 5 × 5ft. For the rest of the year, I won't prune and let it do its things.

looks like you have PCDM planted in ground rather than a container. How long have you had this one in ground?
In a big raised bed, not directly in the ground. I have grown it in this raised bed since May 2021.
How does it do with thrips?
Due to its light color, thrips certainly love it. I think I may have posted more videos of it last year that you will be able to see more of it.
