I loved this! Thank you so much for posting it. Loved hearing Wright on so many varied topics, summarizing, trying to explain in brief what he has written volumes on. Loved seeing his wonderful sense of humor too. So good!
That is what Jesus said, people has a pole in their eye, but they pick on peoples' eyes has a thorn. The non believers just see the wrongs, but ignore the rights because they want to justify that they are not doing the right things. To err is human, so we have to LOVE to forgive each other so that we can live peacefully.
How can he say that the separation between Church and State is a heresy when Jesus said: "My kingdom is not of this world" and "Give to Ceaser what belongs to Caesar"? The apostles never tried to establish a Christian government, which is something that they could have at least tried to do. They didn't even taught anything on that line.
Just watching - this will be good. When will the religobabble start? 02:14; good question from the host! And NT Wright has babbled on for ages and answered a different question! And he's off again on the second question; babble, babble, babble - and I've had enough, so I'm off.
