Kevin Martin (singer for Candlebox) was a fan of the Seatle band MotherLoveBone, and good friends with it's singer, Andrew Wood who died of a dr*g overdose. Kevin started the band Candlebox as a tribute to Andrew and most of the songs on their debut album are in tribute to Andrew, as well as having an anti-drug message.

Phenomenal album and sadly people forget how amazing this band was. One of the top albums of the 90's imo.
