    AHH this theme is so adorable I love it😍! Also I completely agree that art is for everyone! I’m so sorry that you’ve had some discouragement in the past, art is an amazing thing! Most professional artists don’t begin by painting masterpieces on their first try, even if they’re naturally talented they still need to take time to build their skills and learn how to use art supplies in order to create their masterpieces!
    I’ve had so many friends over the years say they wish they could draw like me and I’m always like “have you ever tried?” and they say no, and I’m always like “how do you know if you’ve never tried? You may have tons of talent that you’re not exploring!”
    So if you love art then definitely keep drawing and painting and expressing yourself artistically, it’s good for the soul💕!

      OMG YES YES YES TO THIS COMMENT 💕It's so true that even if you were naturally gifted, you still need to practice and everyone really starts out as a beginner! It's something that I still remind myself when I don't create something I love in the first try that it's normal and it doesn't mean I'm not capable of making great art in the future! I also love that you mention how some of your friends have never tried because I've heard the same things from the people around me too! Thank you so much for such a beautiful comment, I'm so glad you decided to pursue your creativity because your bullet journal designs are absolutely stunning 🥰

      Aww thank you so much 💕 so glad to hear you enjoy this February bullet journal theme 😊 a meditation tracker has helped me SOO much! I started from not being able to meditate and it's finally a part of my daily habits now! Are you tracking any other habits in your bullet journal right now?

    • @Rookiejournal_
      @Rookiejournal_ 2 года назад

      @@JournalingWithNadia I was recommended to write (as in journaling) as part of my meditation but it doesnt work at the moment. Oddly enough, the more I shared my sorrow in writing, the more I went deep into that so I couldnt really release the thoughts inside my head. So, I was recommended to do a different meditation, like closing my eyes and watch me doing things that I feel (so i positioned myself as the third person) but I havent got any better insights. What kind of meditation do you do?
      At the moment I only track exercise, no snacking, and 8glasses of water.
      by the way im so sorry you might feel weird that there's a stranger suddenly came at you asking this kind of question ☹️ Im just trying to find a way to calm myself 🥲

      @JournalingWithNadia  2 года назад

      @@Rookiejournal_ you know, that's so interesting because my coach told me the same thing! She told me my journaling could be keeping me in the sad emotions. What I do now is to focus on journaling the positives, write down my gratitudes or daily wins. It has helped me tremendously 😊 sometimes it's helpful to notice small things that used to be hard for you and celebrate your progress in that way! You definitely sound like you're making a lot of progress and I'm proud of you for having the courage to try different meditation practices 😊
      As for meditation, right now I'm trying out mindfulness meditation and EFT. it's only been a few weeks but I'm really enjoying it so far!
      Also, don't worry. You can ask me any questions here 💕 I want to make this channel a safe space to talk about mental health and I'm more than happy to have these types of conversations with you ☺️

      @@JournalingWithNadia Firstly, thank you so much for even read my message, I truly appreciated it and I do feel like I was understood in some way.
      Funny thing is that I actually tried to do gratitude journaling, and at that time, I couldnt even write anything. I felt like it should be something “big” that I need to be grateful for and I forgot about those small things are actually the BIG things for me (such as watching netflix with husband, to go outside for a walk).
      Other than the meditation that I mentioned earlier, I was also recommended to move my body (small things like stretching my wrist and toes) and acknowledge the things surround me such as there’s a pen beside me. At the moment I feel like that helped a lot. It makes me wanting to put things back into its place. It kinda distracts me from my sad emotions. So, tomorrow I plan to do my “BIG” thing which is going for a walk to a nearby cafe. I hope I can manage to do that and i’ll try to write down on my gratitude journal ☺️.
      My coach also told me about the “Do Something” Principle = Action -> Inspiration -> Motivation. So he encouraged me to move (to do some action) so that it’ll give me some inspiration therefore I got motivation to do it again/to do more.
      I’ll read more about the EFT tomorrow probably in the cafe ☺️✨. Thank you for the recommendation and for even read my message, I do feel like I am understood. I hope you’re having an amazing weekend ☺️✨ and I hope we can keep each other in positive mind.

    • @JournalingWithNadia
      @JournalingWithNadia  2 года назад

      @@Rookiejournal_ oh definitely! It was SOO hard for me to start a gratitude journal because I felt like I had to wait for a "big" event or writing something "generic" like "I'm grateful for my health" felt cliché. But I feel it's a muscle we have to practice. Sometimes I would write small things like "I got to eat my favorite lunch/wear my favorite shirt/saw a cute cat on my walk" etc and writing gratitudes feel easier over time 😍
      YESS! moving your body is great! It's definitely something I want to do more of too, there are a lot of studies that show a lot of benefits with moving your body and how your body is connected to your mind & emotion. That's actually why I was interested in EFT because it has to do with tapping certain areas of your body as you repeat some affirmations to yourself. I like to do it when I feel really strong emotions and I like it so far because it instantly helps my mood. Sometimes I feel a bit impatient with the other meditation practices 😂
      YAY I'm so excited that you're planning to walk to a cafe! That's one of my favorite things to do too 💕 I hope it helps to brighten up your day 🥰 sending you lots of love and will definitely keep in touch!
