Mom and I thrift for an antique victorian light fixture for my house and some fun home accessories for her kitchen decor. We visit Lincoln City Oregon and find some fun antique stores and pop into Goodwill, then head down the coast to Waldport to Lil Joes Antique Mall, our favorite!

I totally get it. MybMom passed in late October, 2020. Shecwas my best friend. I will always miss her. We had great times, too. So blessed that we did. My sympathies at the loss of your Mother.
@@sarahfullerton6894 thank you Sarah. I am so thankful we spent a lot of time together over her last 10 years. We went places she had memories of over the years and new places to shop, eat, etc. Until she had a broken tailbone that required so much pain med that she was confined to bed and the meds shortened her life severely. I was able to see her almost daily as my job was a short way from her retirement home. Almost 6 years missing her.
Wife replying. I just love your mother. Not only she's cute but she's got such a character she always brings a smile to my face. As a child I used to trace around the pattern of the wallpaper and I hoped my father never saw it because he would not have been too pleased.

Mama Sheila has us calling styrofoam peanuts, “ghost poop” and now raisins are “rabbit poop!” 😂 She is just too much fun! Love your camaraderie! Your light was a beautiful find.
Hahaha! I just got a package the other day and called the packing peanuts “ghost poop”, then I started giggling. My 16yr old son looked at me like I was crazy.😜

I remember reading the newspaper as a kid. First the comics, then Heloise, and then Ann Landers. I had completely forgotten about that. Nice memories. Love videos with your Mom. You guys have such a great relationship.
I told my daughter to have her room cleaned by the time I got home from work all the time. When we moved I found bags in the attic full of trash and socks and other things from when she cleaned her room.
Hints from Helloise - I remember it too. But I’m likely the same age as your Mom. She is a sweetheart just like you. Your new light fixture is perfect. ❤️

Really love the new light fixture in the kitchen. It does fit the period better. However, I absolutely love, love the library table you use as an island. That is so cool! If Betty Ford Clinic had a wing for addicted pickers your picture would be displayed prominently on the wall as having failed the program the most! Lol Thank heavens.

Your mother is a cutie and she was talking about hints from Heloise, and she wrote a column in the paper to help people with household questions like how to get gum out of carpets or red wine stains that kind of stuff. So glad you shared your day with us and you mother. Thanks for sharing and the light reminds me of the lights we had in our old school house many years ago, They had lights hanging down on the long arms like yours.
Love that light in your kitchen it fits 100 percent... I have a little girl who is 40 now who used crayons on her wall when she was young....my brother used a pen on moms new sofa and drew circles around the horses on the fabric 1950s...

Hì MOM !!!, Happy Mother's Day. By the way Mom...they are cane chairs not bamboo. They are cane furniture ( bamboo plant are long n hollow in the middle, where as cane are not so long n not hollow in the middle) As most of the cane n bamboo furniture are made in North East India .

Love the kitchen light, I think most people would put something on top of the cabinets, decor wise, but I love the empty space, and I love the window with just the side decor, so elegant, but simple and clean. Beautiful as usual Selena, as are you💙
