- I've never seen a Diamond in the flesh.. Lorde is one of my favorite new artist. So Young and so Talented. Such a breathe of fresh air to the music industry. Also her look is so unique I was tempted to try it out. If you love Lorde and want recreate her Dark Vampy/Goth look here a the perfect Tutorial !!!

For someone with a very different facial structure from the person you're portraying, that was really accurate.
All this anti or "ugly" Lorde comments make me feel bad about myself. I was told that I favor her(hair, brows, nose shape) but I have grey eyes and freckles. Now I feel like crap. I really hate when people body shame others! If you were 100% confident about your own appearances you wouldn't have to take other's down a peg to boost your own ego. That being said this lady does amazing work. Good day!

I don't know what all the hate is for. Considering that she was doing a tutorial for someone several years younger than her, and of a different race, with completely different bone structure, I thought she did a good job. As for the lip comments, well that's the color Lorde wears, so yeah.
I don't think people are complaining about the colour of the lip, more the "outside" (the rest of her natural lips shape) being a lighter colour to her "skin".
It doesn't look gross either way, an it's not as though that's the first time she filled in her lips with concealer to make them look smaller.
Metalchick721 I don't find it gross in any way at all either. I'm just guessing that that is what people are complaing about when refering to her lips.

She may not look EXACTLY like Lorde, but that's because she is a DIFFERENT person with different facial features. BUT, she does look very similar to her after this transformation, and I think it's AMAZING. Maybe you should all re watch Lorde's music video "Royals", because she does look a lot like her from that video. Lorde honestly doesn't look like herself in that music video compared to how she really looks in real life anyway. Just sayyyiiin.

It was amazing but the lips were a bit meh...
I don't really see how Lorde's a breath of fresh air considering she's a young white girl that had the music industry fighting over her and because of that she has a huge ego and insults other artists which is uncalled for. :/ HOWEVER, you are incredibly talented and have done an amazing job on this transformation! I really thought it was her in the thumbnail at first glance. :)

I'm comparing photos of Lorde and the makeup in this video, and they are actually very close. I think the eye color is off, and the lipstick, but other than that they are accurate. You did well considering you have a completely different face shape to hers

Lorde is taented and all but I don't get who would want to look like her she is so creppy looking
I think this one wasn't her best because Lorde has really small lips and she has very plump lips, so the lips really killed it. Plus, her face isn't as sunkin in, and the make-up helped, but not enough. It's just the lips that really jut out. Other than that she actually did a really good job.

As promise said lorde's lips are thin and as u can clearly see promise's lips are quite bigger than lorde.
So there is no other way to make her lips smaller but with foundation and conclear
And if she was to put lipstick with the normally size of her lips then no way she will look like lorde

you obviously don't understand the basics of transformation (or probably any makup) videos. she has lips that are twice as thick as Lorde's so obviously she needed to "hide" half of the lips with concealer.
