I was in my 30s when I had my dark night of the soul .I don't do well these days but always trust your soul and heart. Life is amazing. Love while you live ❤️.
I hope you are well. I am in my 30's and going through some dark nights. This song is amazing and beautiful. I appreciate your comment. I do not know you, but love you, fellow human.
My Grandad passed over yesterday. I wasn't able to say goodbye in person due to my country being in a lockdown, so my Grandmother read him a letter I wrote. He wasn't concious when she read it to him, he hadn't been for a while. Yet he still broke a smile she said. The next day he left us. But not without such great wisdom and love. This song I have to remember Him. Bye Grandad. Love you x
A beautiful melody and clever, haunting lyrics that evoke, for me, Celtic mysticism and leaving this world for the land of "the Sidhe" without apology or explanation. I wish comfort, closure and great memories, and you've got a great song for all of it.
I assure you, he heard your letter. He's on the otherside no longer in an aging body, free of all pain and concern. You'll see him again. I have too many stories to bore you with. I'm certain life does not end here. I hope you find the certainty I have found.
This song is intense...trust the things u experience & have faith & have courage. 'No one taught them etiquette I will show another me' Was blown away by this song.
Day of Days Even though I know this song is about Peter's decision to leave Genesis, I've often thought if aware when my time comes what would be in my heart as it occurs. Recently heard this song for the first time in a long time and now know this will be it. He sings of remaining silent (mostly spiritually, politically and economically for me), going through the routine of days, blending into the morass and basically unplugging from the Matrix, relating to Liberty and Freedom and the smile of Peace and Contentment. So yeah Boom, Boom, Boom.... He's come to take me home!
Rip Jim and John.😥😥 This song helped me with my thoughts after my best friends died of heroin. I'll never completely stop hurting inside but this song will always be with me now. What a beautiful song..
This song was written for me it explains what I went through before turning water into wine etc and is giving me Inverness and come to take me home. God bless you all dearly. Love from Jesus xx
D Gold: It is my understanding that it is about a spiritual experience, a spiritual awakening. That's what I've read when I researched the song. I do research songs that I upload.
1:17"Son, he said, grab your things I've come to take you home". Sounds like the rapture. 1:41Turning water into wine, open doors would soon be shut. Sounds like Jesus and the end times.3:21You can keep my things, they've come to take me home. Sounds like rapture over materialism. Jesus is Lord. turn from your sins and become born again.
Adam and Eve, sounds like the story of Enkidu and Shamhat, two characters in a fictional epic poem written centuries before the Bible. Enkidu is created from the soil by a god, and lives in a natural setting amongst the animals. He is introduced to a woman who tempts him. He accepts food from the woman, must cover his nakedness, and must leave his garden, unable to ever return. Later in the tale, a snake steals a plant of immortality from Enkidu. Also in the poem, Ninti, the Sumerian goddess of life, was created from Enki's rib to heal him after he had eaten forbidden flowers. (The Bible copied that story, too, and changed "flowers" to "fruit".) The Bible stole a lot of its content from earlier written works and renamed the characters. Given what the Bible says about stealing, I'm afraid it cannot be a true book. As Einstein said - the Bible is just "primitive legend." Keep your religion off non-religious videos, Warren?
Relax & enjoy your interpretations...this is about a bad situation he was in within his band, genesis. The magical thing about this song is the guidance he receives...should he trust it? He keeps thinking about that experience...he knows it really happened but who'd believe it. Still, a seed has been planted so he evaluates his current situation & begins to feel he's on the right track, he doesn't have to wait for a replacement... he's ready to go. he feels at peace with what he's about to go say to em. Courage. Inner Strength & Inner Guidance. Try it for yourselves...then u won't have to read about it.
@@TonyEnglandUK but wait...Enki-Ea is our creator. Enki of Earth. He loves humans...they're his creation...they carry his genes This stuff is written in cuneiform on sumarian tablets! Anton Parks has a book called 'Eden' & he translates the tablets & it's pretty incredible. I dont think there are more than 3 people that are able to translate em. It's astounding...highly recommend u look into Enki with 'Eden'...Anton Parks' format is straightforward & there are pictures of the tablets with interpretations of the scene pictured. Pretty incredible. Anyway, that's how I found out about god is from reading Anton Parks.

About leaving Genesis...
@@TheSummerGlowCreations it's like a peaceful song to play at a funeral. Especially if the sick does find and afterlife and excepts he's going.
