A story to tell about this restaurant.
My dad used to bring me to eat when I was a young boy at their orig shop opposite Cathay theatre. It was so so delicious.
Fast forward many many years later, I found that it has moved to Central. As a father then, our family usually goes to Western restaurant to celebrate birthdays. Kids were around primary school age.
One birthday many years back, I insisted on going to Rendezvous for that celebration. I nearly had a riot at hand.
After the Rendezvous birthday celebration, the kids wanted to go there for subsequent birthdays. It was that good.
By the way, I travel frequently to Indonesia and often eat Nasi Padang. In fact, I stayed in Padang for a few weeks for business.
No way, any of the Indonesia Nasi Padang restaurant can top Rendezvous.

Your chemistry with Zermatt is the best..very natural and comfortable. One of my fav old school nasi padang..price a bit x so better go with a group to try more items for communal sharing.

Warong Nasi Pariaman
At north bridge road. This one of the oldest surviving nasi padang shop around . This shop got long history.
以前他们是在rendezvous hotel里面的。从小就吃，到现在还很喜欢！🤤 最爱sotong! 可是以前没有那么贵🥲

last time my Indonesian friend introduce, till now still my favorite , Hjh Maimunah Restaurant and or slightly more expensive but best , Rumah Makan Minang ( Kandahar Street)!

Hi Alison, 可以试一试serangoon bbq & curry 1983 的nasi padang, 位于 22 Sin Ming Road, 味道非常好，尤其是他的grilled sotong 和 chicken thigh， 价钱也合理😊

This is not passable as nasi padang to Sumatran la. Rendang colour so light more like kalio. Sambal terung/brinjal not yet pecah minyak. Gulai colour so light. Looks like kiauseng cooking.

Yes. They were formerly located At rendezvous Hotel before relocating few years to raffles City. Clarke Quay Central is their permanent & current location
