That thing is cool for sure 2vintage. This machine would make a good snow plow. And it's also good for driving on snow, because it has caterpillar tracks. Regards 😀.
Thank you 😀.
My neighbor used to have a World War I tank that he used for deer hunting in the everglades in Florida in the 1980's. He hauled it on a triple axle bumper pull trailer behind his suburban. He put a 500 c.i. Cadillac engine in the tank. He was in a full track and half track club in Florida.
Dang, Joe. That looks like a blast! Thanks for this video!
We have two of them. Really come in handy when you gotta drag you're deer 2 miles through the marsh. Awesome machines
This would make a good snow plow!
Joe, that machine is awesome, great for a full resto if money, and parts allow, favorite machine so far.
Very interesting contraption! I am hoping you get this "THING" running haha... I want to see how this moves on a terrain of your choice. Good Luck Joe.
Its got a Cummins ACE OP 2 stroke in it running klotz techiniplate!mart.cummins.com/imagelibrary/data/assetfiles/0058689.pdf
2vintage you are getting better at this. I started watching you wrench on stuff maybe a couple of months ago and you definitely have gotten better. I've watched similar channels like yours but they don't upload as much.
That little tank works pretty good and looks fun to drive. I'd like to see that hovercraft back up and hovering.
Nice. I would love to have one of those, especially after this winter! I was thinking about putting snow tracks on an old skid loader and build something similar to this for next winter 😁 this is much cooler though, great find!!
thats really smart to record it while your taking it apart, not only for youtube but for reference on an old sled nobody can get schematics for!
Wow what you find out there is amazing!
Was smiling the entire time you were driving it, wish I had one of these back in the 70's
Yeah Joe that is awesome 👌
That is a cool little machine glad you got it running ,looks like the old gas is out of it you don't smoke like it did earlier, plenty of power
Whoa! Like Curtiss Wright aircraft? That particular company experimented with nuclear powered aircraft not too far from where I live.
That is hands down the coolest machine yet on the channel. Wow
Just found this channel. Good content and info here 👍🏻
Great content. Love your videos. They’ve taught me a lot, and in the prosess saved me a bit of money. I look forward to your videos to relax to after a long and stressful day. Thanks for posting.
I knew this was going to be a triple teehee twin cylinder two stroke taint tickler as soon as I saw the two cylinder engine. As soon as he hit the throttle "teeheeheehee!!!". He even said it's up there with his favorite motor to vibe, lol. His wife will never get him to come home now, poor woman
That’s Awesome! 😎 Very Surprised To See How Well It Moves & Yeah 3 Feet Of Snow Wouldn’t Stop The Beast.
well Joe another job well done !!! so what's up with hover craft and dune buggy??
Waiting for a part on the hovercraft. Waiting for snow to melt for dune buggy
Haha ! You don't quit do ya? Yanking on that rope with a commitment !! Dang son your good !!!! Would love it to have a mechanic a talented as you ! Keep up TGW!!
That is a great machine. I would like to see what it will go through in summer. Pretty soon your gonna have to build a big shed. Did you ever consider buying an old mini bike frame and putting a motor/clutch/brakes and such on it. Great channel.
He wont have it in summer. He already listed it for sale
Man that thing looks like a whole new level of fun. With a mountain terrain in the snow I get in my neck of the woods I would ditch the snowmobile the ATV the quad the dirt bike so probably be that in a side by side would be the only thing I would take but I would rock that in a heartbeat. I know so many places I could take that that most other rigs couldn't
that looks like so much fun
We crazy canucks have limitless amounts of dangerously fun toys up here! It's not easy going from igloo to igloo with 1812 feet of snow eh!
Great upload dude! Thanks as always!
This looks super unique machine Joe I bet in the future these might end up being worth a few quid the steering on this looks super smooth it looks really well made & a nicely designed so glad you said you were going to keep a hold of it & what you paid for it was complete steal it didn't take much to fix & runs like a dream & you look after your stuff & change oil & grease everything with stuff like this if you look after them they will look after you & for it being for the Vietnam war you know they would have went for reliable components I love it I think it is super cool have a smashing evening enjoy the rest of your week Joe #2Vintage
I bet it’s a lot more fun than the hover craft and more versatile too. Nice job on the repair. Next thing is to get all the lights working.
Wow ! what a neat Thing! You got it driving... very cool Joe. I wonder how well they would have done in the Vietnam War for the troops if they made it there to use in the War? I would hang on to this one. Just for the weirdness of it. HaHa
