Starmer is evil. I mean that sincerely. To be a pathological liar is a clear sign of an evil, completely manipulative person. They will say anything to win power, to manipulate people. They have zero principles.
People can hate Margaret Thatcher or Jeremy Corbyn but they had principles. They believed in something. Starmer believes in nothing but lying and getting freebies from rich donors.

The pension system is a pyramid scheme that mathematically will fail at some point With an aging population this story unfortunately is the beginning of many more to come. It wont collapse overnight, more & more people affected over time until its just a matter of fact that the system failed you.

This sets a precedent that the government does not have the responsibility to inform citizens of essential changes. As far as I am concerned every citizen should get an official letter from the government for changes that they need to know.

A lot of the women like my mum who were born in the 50's started work when they were 15 and not spent years in further education. I think if there are changes to the pension age, everyone should be informed by letter and not left to assume that if it is in the media, it will automatically mean you will realise that it effects you.

Free Gear and the Labour Numpties knew exactly what financial figure was involved when they supported the WASPI woman whilst in opposition. However, he was using this support to get voters on side, then now in government, he dumps the idea, claiming it will cost too much money. He is a disgrace.

Has Reem forgotten that many of those women were not allowed to work they had to stay at home and raised children and kept the house Reem an apology want help . Did you fight against the minors when they got the back pay you supported the big pay rise of those on high wage jobs yet out of jealousy of the age increase of retirement . As for those very rich pensioners that’s rubbish

Why (a) did men and women get different pension ages in the first place and (b) why was the pension age not put up more gradually say a year at a time rather than five years in one go? As a WASPI myself I was never sent a letter. I had no intention of retiring anyway at 60 in fact I am still working full time at 70.

Best thing he has ever done...waspi should have read the ombudsmans small print...90% knew. I cant see thar being true but certainly 70 % did. Waspi think labour can cancel winter fuel costing 1.5 billion...but pay them 10 billion + They are in cloud cukoo land. Even when they were told 2k each if its affordable they kept demanding 10k each..???? Its over.

Labour are appalling at public relations. Even if you accept the cost of compensation is too high and there are more pressing concerns (bankrolling the NHS, schools etc), Starmer and co are manifestly incompetent at dealing with issues. If you say you will help the Waspi women when you're in opposition but renege on that pledge when in power... *you're liars.* Period. This is a massive public relations disaster. Millions of Waspi women won't vote Labour at the next election so it's a self destructive policy decision by Labour.
The only mitigating factor is *this is not Labour’s problem nor fault.* It was Conservative legislation from 1993- 95. It's mind boggling a Labour Party almost 30 years later has to deal with it. It's not their responsibility.
I have no idea how/why a Conservative government of the mid 1990s can bring in legislation that doesn't take effect until 2010 - 2020. That's crazy. No government should pass laws so far ahead. The John Major government was voted out in 1997 so it's absurd the state pension age change was set so far in the future.
