I have had several Grip6 belts, and owned the three versions of straps (original, midweight, and newer "Element" webbing), with a few colors (mostly black though -- I'm not crazy about the more colorful options-- I would like to see more traditional dark brown options). The original webbing I found warped a bit with a lot of wear, but the newer ones seem very solid. They are light and comfortable, great for sitting for a long time with no bulky or sharp edges. While active, they work perfectly-- no slippage with the tension hold. After I lost a lot of weight, I followed the Grip6 instructions to cut the length a bit (with sharp scissors), and then use a lighter to burn the new edge to seal it. I now have shorter, better fitting belts. Among the interchangeable buckles I have, I have one carbon fiber buckle (which was rather expensive), and I went through airport security a few times with it on, but sometimes I got asked to remove the belt anyways. For the carbon fiber buckles, I do like the "forged carbon" version in the video, rather than the "dark matter" one I own. Overall, these are very casual belts. For a more dressy look, and with the same ability to shorten the belts by cutting them as I lost weight, I went with Kore Essentials full-grain leather ratchet belts in four colors and four interchangeable buckles.
I have the standard aluminum buckle/cloth belt ones and they are AMAZING (and much more affordable if anyone is scared off by the price). I’ve had them in 3 belt colors and 2 belt buckles for over 6 years - wearing them daily - and they show absolutely no signs of wear and still stay tight. These are also great because they don’t show any “belt bulge” under a t-shirt!
It doesn’t have a clasp, but the angle at which the belt enters the buckle keeps it from loosening throughout the day! Without a fastener, it isn’t perfect, but it works pretty well. Check out the full review for more information: packhacker.com/travel-gear/grip6/forged-carbon-fiber-belt/ -Eric
Loving my Grip6 belts! Can't recommend enough

That type of CF is marbled CF. It’s pretty popular in knife community and it looks great.
I noticed in this video you said you have a similar wallet when you were holding a grip6 belt ! :)
It looks really nice but how does it prevent the belt from getting loose over time during the day?

@@PackHacker2 That’s awesome. Thank you for specifying and the link.
I have found that on the full body scans they don't care if it is non metallic, they make you take the belt off anyway.
I tried it as gun belt but failed. Its too flimsy and gun almost fell out.
Wallet?
@ 0:50 yes he misspoke " I have similar _wallet_ ..."
People should check out arc'teryx conveyor belt. By far the best belt
Yeah the world needed another belt.
79$ ? for cloth?
It’s mostly for the Carbon Fibre, the straps are $17.
It’s actually cheaper to buy the buckle and strap together rather than separately.
I like the belt but I hate the forged carbon fiber look, Lamborghini started that trend first and it's never stopped looking awful.
Expensive belt that could not support my Glock 19 setup. Its a strap and HUGE buckle.
Gave it to my teenager.
That's not what it's made for
