Sham Bolic Radiohead is beyond alternative. They are way more "alternative" than most alternative bands. They're one of the greatest experimental bands of all time.
Shammo Hamid no they're really not. I love them, but you can find far weirder song structures and technology in the underground. I would say they were and are one of the most experimental acts in the mainstream which is a great place to occupy. Experimentation isn't everything.

This was a cool interview, they've written so many incredible songs with such a range, I can't think of any other bands that have stayed relevant for so long. I don't love every single so of theirs obviously, but I don't really hate any of them. How many bands can you say that for?
Thom Yorke and his genius. I have loved them for years!!! No other band can stand up to their level of art. I am a bit partial to Thom and his lyrics. People may find the meaning of his lyrics depressing. I have long since stopped analyzing the meaning of his lyrics and just enjoy the sound of his voice and the band as a whole. I can never get enough.
