Like the Quran says, it’s not their eyes that are blind. It’s their hearts. They deny the truth even when it’s presented to them.

He made 1 error repeatedly though, when you show proof that can't be denied, that's when you need to lower your voice, do not smile to anyone else, don't have a big grin, it causes even children to reject the notion and be more stoic in proving you wrong, even if they find the truth, they will reject it, blaming themselves as not educated enough on the subject. It's why I genuinely don't care how much you memorise something, imams, ustaz needs to take psychology, it would vastly improve their capabilities in debates and understanding current society issues, knowing is not the same as understanding.
A very respectful and in my opinion sincere individual. May Allah guide him to islam.
