As a person who failed 2 ideas in Tokyo, I like the way you think & act.
I tend to think "Single player game" mindset, where it's really just up to you.

There’s definitely room and seasons for both single and multi player game while going through this journey! 🙂

I just downloaded Sewayou! No other DAU in Indiana USA but i reached out to some people in Tokyo.
The interface looks very Japanese and text focused! And I actually like it.
I’m trying to get the startup BM visa to move to Shibuya/Nagoya to start a Coffee/Hiring place to help employee “freeters” and challenge the Shukatsu system!

      Thanks for trying out SewaYou!
That’s a big move! Wish you all the best! There’s indeed room for innovation in the Shukatsu system! 👍

Appreciate your findings throughout your startup journey! Would be great if you could update us with your current app status. I believe many of us are really curious and excited about the data trend behind your social app.

hey Philippe, thanks for your valuable insights! I'm still curious about your transition from side hustle to full-time grinding. Could you ellaborate more on that process, like when you felt ready to make the step or what are the biggest challenges you faced as soon as you made the decision?

It’s indeed an interesting topic to cover, thanks for asking!
Although some experiences were distilled from here and there on the channel, it might be good to make a video dedicated to the topic!
Meanwhile the closest and already published video I made was this one:
      Why I Quit Microsoft Japan
      ruclips.net/video/fh2yJjOwnQ4/видео.html
Not exactly what you’re asking for, but it has some answer elements and I made it right after I quit my last corporate job, so while my memory and feeling on the topic was still fresh 😄

    Hey Philippe
    It was really informative
But how did you manage your expenses after quitting Microsoft until getting funded
You had an emergency fund where you saved up money for this?

    • @PhilippeKhin
      @PhilippeKhin  Год назад +1

Yep! Basically just living off my savings from my time there! 😄

Starting any project can be challenging.. especially when you don't know where to begin.. we start making plans but it's easy to get caught up in the planning process and lose sight of the actual execution.. I think the worst thing we can do is to give up halfway and not follow through until the end. I wanted to thank you for your videos, as they've been a great source of inspiration and motivation for me to keep pushing forward in life. Currently I'm a student dealing with procrastination, are you planning on making lifestyle videos about your routines, habits.. maybe tips for being more focused and productive?

Thanks for your comment and happy to hear that my videos somehow helped 🙏
It is indeed an ongoing battle, starting and pushing through a big project without a clear roadmap can be daunting at times, but also make it worthwhile than taking an already paved path 😃
Well noted, will do more of those tips type of videos, stay tuned🤓

No! You're not the only one who is shocked by hearing fellow 20-year olds talk about saving up for retirement. Good to know it's not just me who finds that weird
