This is an amazing video. Children are one of the greatest gifts, not only because of the joy they bring on their own, but because it gives us a chance to pass on we have learned in life and become a teacher. If I've realized anything after having a daughter, it's that teaching her is as much about my own discovery as it is hers. Finding patience, finding creativity, finding joy in passing on life skills and seeing the light come on in their eyes when they get it, and the feeling of achievement they earn is one of the best rewards. Keep up the fantastic videos, and we'll keep watching and supporting!

As a camping addict, I watch camping videos every day ...and this is one of the best videos I have ever seen. The impression I got while watching the videos before I entered this world, that camping is suitable for lonely wolves ... But you say here: No, it can be done with your family, with your sweet child, and you make memories and lessons with them .. How can anybody dislike this video? Must be jealous they don't have a kid to go camping with. This is one of the best video I've seen on RUclips this year. Spending quality time with your children and showing/giving them the experience of winter camping and the great outdoors is one of the best things you can do. This is so beautiful to watch. What a precious child. They are what it is all about. I raised three boys and a girl in the country and they are all outdoors people. My daughter followed in my footsteps and did four years in the Marine Corps and has since married and has given us three beautiful grand daughters. They are camping right now in New Mexico. Making priceless memories. I don't remember who said it but I love this, "Children are living messages we send to a time we will not see." They will have wonderful messages.

And the father of the year award goes to... LoneWolf 902! This was such a sweet father-daughter camping trip, I tried taking mine winter camping at 5yrs old and all she did was cry that it was too cold. I made sure she was dressed warm, she had two zero degree sleeping bags and I stayed up all night to keep the fire hot. To this day she won't go tent camping with me, no matter what season. I showed her this video and asked if she wanted to try again(she's 10 now) and she said nope.

I like that tent, it's crazy versatile! Autumn looks like she enjoyed it too. The tent has the shape I make out of two plashpalatka as center walls, with Polish lavvu as end caps. To get them to line up as far as buttons and holes, I made joining strips out of seat belts and sewed Canadian style slot buttons on, and used an exact-O knife type blade attachment on a wood burning tool to melt button holes, then whipped the openings with thread. I'm thinking ov making a version 2.0 using a heavy ykk zipper like what boat and jeep tops use, adding the buttons and button holes down the sides. I really didn't want to modify the canvas pieces, so the seatbelt strip seemed the best option.
