Any studio recording can be tweaked to sound good, and there are no live versions of her singing this. She should never have attempted this, as is true of most vocal artists. It is an exceptionally challenging piece no matter your vocal expertise or genre.....that's why it's not recorded much!! Summertime is much more accessible musically. My Man's Gone Now is a piece of vocal art, and Sinead is not up to it, may she rest in peace.
