This video was so much easier for me to understand how to write a good hypothesis using variables; explaining both the Independent and Dependent variables so that my hypothesis (proposed solution or prediction) can be tested or measured. Thank you so much!
i have always been confused by what to select for null hypothesis and what to select for alternate hypothesis . In most examples I have found null hypothesis to be stating that objects will remain same even after the introduction of independent variable in the system and consecutively observed alternate hypothesis to be stating that things in an environment won't remain same after the introduction of independent variables in the system eg- H0--->fish won't jump out of the water if there are predators are present and H1--->fish will jump out of water if there are predators are present in the water . Someone please correct me if i am wrong cause while testing hypothesis it becomes a lot more important how you devise your hypothesis btw thanks for the video that really helped a lot
It is my opinion that the music is too loud and the voice of the instructor is not loud enough. If it were not for the pictures I would not have been able to follow this at all, and I still really don't get the whole point of it. Maybe it could be adjusted and this constructive criticism could be taken into account and possibly a new video made. Thank you so much for your time, Ruth
Great material. The hissing in the audio needs to be fixed. Can You find an audio engineer to help? I cannot assign to my class because there is too much background annoyance.
I found this tutorial very easy to understand. Nothing like what they used to teach when I was in high school oh so long ago. :) This will help me to get better grades in the scientific courses I need to take. Which scares me as much as the math courses. Hopefully I can find easy to understand tutorials for math when I need them.
Hi, I think that what you did are predictions not hypotheses. A hypothesis and a prediction, actually are two different parts of the scientific method.
Well the fish that lives under water the fish have to have oxygen in order to live and they need oxygen in order to keep the population to supply other fish.
Control is the factor you are able to indefinatly know won't change anything and is their to just see that the experiment is conducted in a good manner. Sorry i was late by a couple years.
