In fact if he wasn't there this would go on for thousands of years more maybe even until the prophecy actually came to be and since focalor wouldn't be dead to return neuvillette his power to stop the prophecy the prophecy would've happened making all her work truly meaningless. I know this is gonna sound cruel but I believe furina had a happier ending with death. And hear out my reasoning, furina was forced to play the stage for over 500 years while still being human and during those years she had to suffer for a very long time and just for the citizens to turn their backs on their archon and everyone she trust to turn their backs on her. I wouldn’t wanna be alive just for a betrayal of that large of a margin and playing an act for such a long time just for the prophecy to come into fruition. After all death would be the greatest release of freedom of the curse than handle the last few years in her life in a isolated place
I quite dislike Traveler in this quest. In the previous Archon quests (especially regarding the death of Morax, which was also a lie of the Archon), he solved it thoughtfully, but in this quest, he seems like a fool, not caring about others, only insisting on seeking justice. That's the reason why I stopped playing this quest.

I relly hate Traveler in this part, Furina had to suffer to save everyone and he went there and ruined everything.
