honestly one of my favorite multi use keboards, when it comes to super competitive gaming ill definitely use my mech but if im working or playing semi intense games ill pull this out from under my desk and use it, such a good membrane keyboard completely worth the money

So many reviews on Amazon are just about the lights. Most people get keyboards for its functionality, not the lights, but people are only posting videos of the lights 🤦🏽♀️ dummies lol So here I am. Thank you for the review. I just ordered this one Amazon(it’s on sale for $49 USD instead of $60)
Love the idea of the macro record function! It's kind of a hassle to load up the software and then save it to a hardware profile at times, I think I'm gonna be more willing to experiment with it this way.
iCue pronounced how it’s spelled, Eye-Cue(iCue). It’s the program that you can use to change the lighting. I have a Corsair headphone stand and it came with iCue as well. That’s what they use so you can change the RGB(can even use it to change other device lights too!). I’m sure later in the video you go over this but incase someone jumps to the comments and is curious, that’s what it is. I like quiet keyboards. I had a Logi MX keyboard but it’s not for gaming and the WASD keys started to feel weird after 6 years of use. So I am looking for a gaming keyboard. I don’t like the loud clacking of mechanical keyboards so membrane seems to be right for me. There are more silent ones I’m sure(that are for gaming) but I like this because I already have iCue and it has good reviews on Amazon 😊

I was using a chiclet style keyboard for years before so keep that in mind. Ive never had a mechanical keyboard. So I cant really say much about them but I do believe they are a lot more expensive. And for someone like me I would prolly have a hard time telling or noticing the difference between them. I hope it helps :D

with the icue you can change the colors on it. So when you want rainbow you can do that. (its a program by Corsair) If you want to have it response to a key button you can do it. Its very easy to use.
Hi, I just got my corsair k55 pro today. It's really a great keyboard but why is it that when I use the iCue software the lighting (FN+1,2,..) don't work anymore... I have to do everything in the software and I don't want that. I had to uninstall iCue to be able to re-use the lighting effects with FN on my keyboard.
@@altijdmiljan9050 Yes it is a very good keyboard ! I have learned to use iCue and I'm playing with my RGB lol. The macro keys are in my case a mini elgato stream deck it is awesome ! You won't get a better membrane keyboard
I guess you found out that the iCue software isn't compatible with Win 11. Yet, anyway. I just purchased one of these units today and discovered it. "No device detected!". Great keyboard though.
lol i noticed today because my enter key got stuck and i couldnt figure out why so I removed the " ' button to test it out and when putting back in i noticed the shape was facing the wrong way....good thing i still have the box lol to confirm.
@@dlfdistana4461 K55 is membrane meaning it doesn't have loud keys and it's soft on touch (that is my preference). The other is mechanical, some people prefer the sound a mechanical keyboard makes while typing and also prefer the feel that it gives. I can't describe it probably though
It does I recently got this it took me forever I saw the ones saying to hold f1 and stuff well no what u have too do is hold sb and then plug it in ur ps4 or 5
am I the only one who doesnt like this keyboard?....I have small hands and it feels cramped ....I keep hitting the wrong keys. I thinking of replacing it its been since its been almost a year and i still hit the wrong keys. Also it feels like i miss my combos sometimes and that didnt happen on my cheaper gaming keyboard. Not sure if its the keyboard and just me not hitting the keys right.

ICUE is a software you can download on your computer to remotely add lighting effects to corsair branded tech you have, its pretty cool.

Windows lock key locks out the windows key so you dont have windows jumping in front of your game when you accidently punch it

Windows lock key means usually that it disables the Windows key on the keyboard. I know this keyboard has it too :p
I wish more keyboard came with onboard memory. It really set cheap membrane vs premium keyboard apart with lil features like that.

my only complaint is i think the keys are a bit to high in my opinion.
Windows lock allows you to click the Windows button and nothing will happen. Its for the gamers that click windows during gameplay
