this couldn't have come in a more perfect time, I'm planning to score a choir centric piece and this video came in at the right moment. much love to spitfire audio!
How about an expansion to Eric Whtacre Choir that adds sylables for pseudo lyrics, a children's choir, and soloists for each section? That would be the best choir package ever!
Thanks Paul. I loved the idea of using suspensions in the choir against the rest of the orchestra. Fantastic effect.
Always a joy to see your tips & tricks for composers! Thanks, Paul!
Absolutely fantastic. Thank you, Paul, for the inspiration.
Great presentation on choir usage through genres. Thanks.
As a full on Progger my heart beats in 7/8... or is that my AF playing up again.😉
Love this one Paul. I always really enjoy your run through's and explanations.
Thank you for sharing such valued tips.
Excellent video. Thank you.
Yep!
Yes!
My favourite choir-heavy soundtrack is The Conjuring 2
Hi Paul. Thank you for your video. I've noticed you use a tablet since few months.I know, thru certain details, you can have some wrist problems. Why did you chose to use a tablet? What are the pros & cons? What kind of tablet do you use? How are you dealing with the pen in your fingers when you go back & forth from the tablet to your musical keyboard when you're composing? Etc etc....
Love the Choirs!!!! If don't mind me asking what is the pad to the right of the PC keyboard. out get one!!!! Thank you
Wacom Intuos Pro - Medium size
I absolutely love this video! Question, though, what is Paul doing with the stylus? Is that an iPad?
Looks like a Wacom Intuos pro to me. I've been using a pen tablet as well for a long time since I had RSI issues. Have been using it with Ableton live, also perfect to draw envelopes (cc1 cc11) for orchestral work.
What is the pen/pad you are using in place of a mouse? Cheers!
Good morning teacher May I know what type of computer you use if you still use Intel or have you switched to m2? ❤ 😊
