I hate it when people say to play rainsounds in the background while you listen to music, and then say "your welcome" as if they did you some great favor... Ahh no I don't want to listen to music over the backdrop of a rainy day; I just want to listen to the danm song.
the violin is so breathtakingly beautiful. the movie itself was like bittersweet chocolate how it had moments that were so depressing yet in the end the girl finds true happiness

I just finished watching thos movie its one o my favorites and its a sad movie always make me feel sad but then i hear this lullaby and its just breathtaking i absolutely recommend watching the movie the movie is in spanish for me and i cant change it to english so i dont know if its like that for everyone but if you dont know spanish there is subtitles its so pretty i love it and the language suits it
Im going to play this for my baby when I grow up lol Im always going to love this movie even 60 years from now when im in the nursing home Ill still have the dvd lol and watch it

If you want to play it on the violin, its easiest if you start in 4th position on the A string. Knowing the above should hopefully give you enough info to figure it out by ear. Just sit down at your computer with your instrument, listen to the piece, and slowly work it out. Good luck!

For those of you who don't know where this lullaby is from, it's from Pan's Labyrinth. About a girl named Ofelia who is a unique little princess who has died and returned into a different body. Her mother is sick and pregnant and married to Captain Vidal, who is very strict to Ofelia. She becomes curious about this labyrinth she sees when she arrives at the village. At night, a fairy visits her, telling her to come with it to the labyrinth. There, she finds Faun. He tells her she must do 3 simple tasks. She fails to do one of them, which is to take a drop of blood from her little brother. (The mother has died in birth) The captain refuses to let her do this, and becomes very aggressive to her. He ends up killing her but then died a few minutes after her death. Her blood drops into the circle of the labyrinth and she returns home. All of this takes place during the civil war. This movie will bring joy and terror to your heart. It's brilliant. Just watch and see, you won't regret it. Although, make sure you have subtitles on because it's all spanish.
@cutie802 : I could not listen to Schindler's List theme, because I cry immediately. It's the saddest theme you could ever played on any instrument. This Pan's Labyrinth lullaby is also sad made me tear-eyed but I'm still able to listen unlike the other one.
