- “Allah has given a slave of His the choice between this world and what is with Him, and the slave has chosen what is with his Lord.”
After hearing these words from the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) Abu Bakr (raḍyAllāhu ‘anhu) began to weep, for more than anyone else Abu Bakr knew the slave whom the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) was speaking about was himself and that the hidden meaning in these words was that the Prophet's (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) time on this earth was soon coming to an end.
On Monday 12th Rabi' al-awwal on the 11th year of the Hijra whilst resting in the arms of his beloved wife ‘Ā’ishah (raḍyAllāhu ‘anha) the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) departed this earth and returned to His Lord.
The Messenger of Allah may not be amongst us any more but his legacy still lives on and until the end of time mankind strives to emulate his perfect example.
A humble worshipper, a great leader, a loving husband, a caring father ...a mercy to all the worlds.
After 5 years of teaching, with over a hundred episodes, Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi concludes the journey of the Seerah of our Prophet (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam).

Too bad the people who see this have no idea of the way that Mohammed cobbled together bits from the Jewish, Christian, and Zoroastrian faiths (that he complete misinterpreted) to create Islam, a religion that was devoted to his pleasure (as his 6 year old child bride Aisha even realized and commented on).

Dr Yasir has done his work brilliantly i listened his 101 lectures and found him noble man who introduced the hidden sides of Seerah with great effort and dedication. O Allah take pity on Dr Yasir on the day of judgement who has motivated me to do good deeds by increasing the amount of love for our prophet. i wept too much and got so much peace.

This is the saddest lecture of the entire seerah, it made me cry when the prophet (SAw) was dying, like it felt like I was there with him, the way the sheikh was telling the story, masha Allah I love you brother for the sake of Allah, and may Allah make us meet the day of judgment with our prophet Muhammad (SAW). Dear Dr. Shaikh Yasir Qadhi. I lost my 4.5 years old son Muhammad in this summer 21.07.2019 after 50 days coma in hospital. I myself know what i went through in these days. One of the most traumatic days in my life. Then I somewhere found out your lectures and followed Seerah Class!! These Seerah Class helped me to recover from sorrow and i hope i will try and ask allah to follow the footsteps and sunnah of Prophet S.A.W.
No greater calamity ever befell us than to enter a world where the Prophet (saw) does not exist. :'(
The final moments really felt like everything was unfolding in front of our eyes and it really felt like we had just lost the Messenger of Allah (saw) and the emptiness and darkness was real, but at the same time you gave us this sense of optimism of the responsibility on our shoulders to carry on the legacy of the Messenger of Allah (saw) till we meet him at his hawd and drink from his blessed hands, in sha Allah.
Peace and blessings be upon the best of creation... How we long to meet him and be his companions in Jannah. :'(
May Allah help us to implement the teachings of the Prophet (saw) and unite us with him in al-Firdaws al-ala, Allahumma ameen.

Criticise your self what you have done please are you ready for next life when death come. When a Muslim dose his best to explain and pass on message of Prophet (pbuh) make a lot of Dua for him instead of criticism. This person has changed my life. I thank Allah that many things I have learnt about Islam through this person. This lectures are Iman building.

I can't tell you how much this series of lectures has benefitted me. During Covid-19 lockdown I found myself watching some Netflix programmes. Then one day I wondered what will I say to Allah ( SWA) if he asks me to justify all these (wasted) hours. So I decided to find something more interesting and worthwhile on RUclips.
May Allah (SWA) bless the Sheikh, his family, and all his team who made this incredible collection. After watching them all I feel that I have been on a journey with you all. May Allah (SWA) accept our good actions and forgive us, our children and our parents, and help all the muslims around the world, and guide those who are seeking the truth to Islam.

Assallemallacum, as an English speaking Muslim who has been reading about the Prophet Mohammed (SWAS) since I was first blessed in coming into the fold of Islam over 25 years ago, I would like to thank the Sheikh for his dedication to this project. It has been invaluable, I have learnt so much and been able to identify misconceptions that I have picked up from reading weak hadith etc. May Allah bless and reward the Sheikh and his team and his family for their sacrifices and may everyone listening to these videos be blessed for spending the time to study the Seerah and may we all have the ability to follow the Sunnah of the greatest man to walk to the earth. I finished these series the second time all 101 episodes... And once I just finished 52 episodes as I couldn't bring myself to reach the point where our Prophet Muhammad SAW leave us... I have no words to tell how the Seerah changed me. The benefits are just innumerable. May Allah SWT accept the hard work of Yasir Qadhi. As every episode finished I prayed for Yasir Qadhi for helping me come from darkness to light.
May Allah SWT bless us all, Alhamdulillah for showing (all who have gone through this series) a glimpse the life of the greatest human Hazrat Muhammad SAW who walked the face of this Earth. The Mercy of Allah.

Yes sheikh, your seerah has acedemic regerous access and is relevant to modern society. The only advanced class in English I have ever seen. 6 years ago when my father came back from medina he gave me the English translation of ' Raheek al makthomm' written by sheikh safiurrahman mubarkpuri. I read it many times but I never knew that book was one the best books written on seerah of our beloved Prophet saw until I heard it from sheikh yasir qadhi. I was looking for a detailed analytical seerah for a long time. It was only then I started watching this series two years ago. Today it came to an end. Alhamdulilah I have benefited a lot and I pray to Allah to practice as much as I can. May Allah swthl reward you the best for your efforts sheikh...

You've done an incredibly great job Yasir! Like many commentators here, I too have listened to all 101 episodes. I think these series must include subtitles in other languages, especially Turkish. I hope someone is already working on this!
It took me 2 years to to go from episode 1 to 101. I am Turkish and I haven't seen such wealth of knowledge being transmitted in my language, with using the source material and also references on how it would apply to our times. Most of Turkish lecturers transmit only bits and parts of Seerah and they are overly emotional when they do it. It sound like a story from a different world, so one can never fully grasp holistically what happened throughout the lifespan of the Prophet (pbuh) and how you can apply it to our times.
Thank you for making this accessible to so many people and the approach you took! This is very inspirational and I'm looking forward to learn more from you in the future.

I did watch all 104 episodes within 4 months! Alhamdulillah it was ready made for me. Indeed it was profound and comprehensive. What a grand legacy to leave behind. What a blessing from Allah! Alhamdulillah as Sheikh Yasir tired couple of times to finish the seerah and cut it short, I tired to listen to it couple of times and had to cut it short during the past 5 years. And now alhamdulillah after 5 years I reached the end. May Allah give Sheikh Yasir and all of the Ummah al-Firdaws al-Ala!
Today 09/16/24, 12th Rbiaa 1st. Subhana Allah, it's just so happened that I just finished the 101 episode today, I started listening to this episodes since last Ramadan.
May Allah reward Dr Yasir for this great job. Inchaallah I'm going to start it again.

Alhamdulillah! Through the immense mercy of Allah I have finished watching episode 1-101 only within 36 days. I started listening to this Seerah probably from June 29 to August 3, 2021. For doing so, I used to watch every episode by doubling up the speed on RUclips. May Allah reward you Dr. Yasir Qadhi. I think Allah has excepted your dua that you wanted, people would benefit from it. Words are too little to express how I am feeling now. May Allah bless you & reward you immensely.
