ATTENTION: Those sherbets are not vegan they have cream. I am very sad. Also, not all kind bars are vegan. Most have honey. ALSSOOOO, this video was pre-recorded before COVID got too bad in NYC. I’m currently self-quarantining. ✌🏽
Stay safe from the Coronavirus and wash hands often with soap for 20 seconds ( it kills the virus and other diseases). Hopefully the madness will be over soon.
D. Dios tip if it was 3 for 6 it will be $2 each so 3 for 5 is less than $2 ($1.68) if that’s a per ice you’re willing to pay. Guestimation is key for a stress free trip young padawon 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Our Costco has a decent amount of vegan products. We get Beyond Burgers, Peanut Butter, Dave’s Killer Bread just to name a few items. I love the Acaì bowl from the food court.. I always ask sans granola.. too hard for me. 😋
I would LOVE to see the affordable Whole Foods haul! I steer so far clear of WF because I just fear that everything in there is way too expensive haha but I would love to see what actually isn't. (sometimes I do get a donut there because they are cheaper than the $3-4 specialty vegan donut places!)
13:51 The pizza can be made vegan, I think. A whole, veggie pizza without cheese = 16” pie. Toppings: green bell peppers, red onions, button mushrooms & black olives (on marinara/red sauce) for ~$10 seems like a good deal.
Super surprised that your Costco was lacking in so much, especially since you’re in NYC! I’ve found vegan cheese, beyond burger, bulk tofu, etc. and I’m in the south where veganism isn’t the thing
My costco has tofu, beyond burgers, gardein chick'n tenders, and morning star breakfast sausages! Also, I might be confused, but all the kind bars I've seen have honey in them so I don't think those belong in this video?
So Yeah. Ah man that sucks, I haven't tried them yet but I was looking forward to trying them eventually. I guess I'm not surprised though; the morning star black bean burgers i've seen at costco also have egg :/
October 2019, Tesco began offering "Free From" Brand Cheese Flavoured Balls, that are Vegan! Know anyone in the UK? You can have some picked up or sent to you. Enjoy!
I love watching these videos, even though I’m in Europe and do not have access to any of the stores featured. Thank you for going through all that trouble to film this.
I work at Costco. Yeah no samples because of corona. The CDC came into our store a couple days ago and said to shut down the food court and take the tables away. We have beyond burger 8 patties for about $10 so some stores have it. We have a tasty and wfpb queso dip too. Its about $6 for a big container.
Better than most videos, this video actually shows what's at Costco and saves me the time on knowing if they have products. I seen some videos where they just get the same thing lol it's not really informative on what they have.
My Costco has frozen beyond burgers, vegan cheese (mozzarella shreds), and other random stuff I’m not seeing at yours. I know each Costco varies though, even cities close by each other.
That Costco has ALWAYS been packed and awful with parking. I got lucky and found the beyond burgers 8-pack two months ago in queens. Regret only getting one pack
Excellent video to view during self isolating. I have 2 weeks food in the house and my cupboard and fridge freezer is full of food mainly frozen vegetables as well as fresh vegetables and in the cupboard full of dried and canned food.
my fav thing to get at costco (aside from almond butter) is these huuuuge bags of hippeas for i think $6.49?? also my costco has chao cheese, beyond burgers, tofu, and vegan black bean burgers! jealous u found dr. praeger's and better than bouillon
I went vegan 30 years ago (at 17) and getting a veggie burger of any kind required a trip to the local natural food store. It's amazing how much things have changed.
This might be the best vlog you have done yet. Find it interesting comparing my costco from the UK to yours. Also it’s crazy how much you have grown in 1 year. Seriously keep it up Rebecca 👍🏼
I got beyond burgers , a multipack of choa cheese for 10 dollars (which is nuts because it’s usually 5.99 per pack at other store). They have gardien products , daiya ice cream bars , vegan chocolate chips and other stuff . It’s been great ! OH AND THEY HAVE GIANT BAGS OF WHITE CHEDDER HIPPIES
Heyyy love, I am such a fan of your work and admire you since I've began watching your videos... but I was honestly a bit shocked when you sad 'I forgot that Coronavirus was a thing'. I live in Europe, Luxembourg, to be exact and the situation is really really bad. We are not allowed to leave the house (only for grocery shopping) and if we do we have to pay 150 eur. It would be really awesome if influencers would encourage their viewers to take this situation extremely serious! Italy has over 3000 death cases... stay safe guys!
Hey! Ten days ago over here, (when I recorded this) it wasn’t as well known what’s going on. But I’m much more aware what is going on now. Things only get serious in the US over the past few days.
wow im surprised your costco still has a stocked frozen section!!! i buy 15-20 lbs of frozen veggies to keep in my freezer for emergencies and they really came in handy the last two weeks.
In WA (Seattle area) there’s vegan cheese in a tub by the hummus. It’s called Heidi Ho and it’s delicious. There’s also usually a 3 pack of field roast sausages and praise jah they haven’t gotten rid of the tofu in our area 🙌🏻
Your mom can add you as a dependent- you can get your own card. Most bulk stores (sams, Costco, BJs) allow two cards per membership- anything there after is a cheap fee (20 dollars per every added family member, etc) flashing a parents card or getting a gift card is definitely not necessary.
I feel you some Costco are better than others, they do have a partnership with Just Eggs but not all of them. We appreciate you and how you work out to bring us comprehensive review.
Randi MacDonald I’m an employee at Costco and I guess it all depends on the store. At the store I work at we do check closely but usually just let them know our policy and let it slide just so we don’t get people to throw a fit. It saves us our time and energy explaining a very simple rule that some people have a hard time following. The card itself does say “non transferable” (:
Came back to see how much the Dave's bread cost lol. Does it get moldy quick like Ezekiel bread? Do you keep your bread in the fridge or outside? I dont want to buy it and have it go bad quick. Usually it last longer if kept in the fridge. Freezer is key if it's not going to be eaten quick.
Honestly, that shelf stable soy milk is an AMAZING deal and the only thing more amazing is the TASTE. Favorite milk. Hands down. I’ve never seen a Costco without both a morning star burger burger and breakfast sausage and they usually have a kirklands burger too. Sometimes they also have a faux chicken patty.
Availability of products varies and depends on the store buyer - here we can get Beyond Burgers and tofu, and we always have Field Roast because they're a Seattle company so it's local. Just Egg was a temporary promotion, the stores that had it only had it for about a month.
My Costco in Canada has the Beyond Burgers for a much better price then the grocery stores we also have yves veggie dogs & burgers. The Kirkland chocolate chips are accidentally vegan
That bouillon is the best. I can’t live without it. I love Costco. I looked for vegan burgers and we don’t have any at our Costco. Those big bags of frozen produce is bomb. Have a wonderful weekend. 😎
Really random and off topic from the video but hopefully when this all blows over if it does can you do a 2020 vegan food guide of your must go favorite places you recommend such as vegan breakfast, lunch, dinner and desert restaurants/fast food spots. Weather that be I guess Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn etc
I have found Beyond Burgers at Costco but to my knowledge they have never had vegan cheese. Bummer but their main demographic seems to be keto dieters 🙄🙄🙄. Havent come across Just Egg either but I think it's taking a while to get to every store. Most of their products come out on the west coast and slowly come east.
Liv B has an egg mix recipe! I haven’t tried it myself yet but I heard it’s pretty good. It’s definitely hella more affordable and less processed than just egg tho. p.s. Key ingredient split mung beans / moong dal can usually be found in Indian (or Pakistani as well maybe) grocery shops easily afaik
Yea it depends on the demographic and the needs of the customers what Costco’s stock. My Costco doesn’t have a ton of vegan stuff however they do have a suggestion box of what products they should offer and you can put your suggestions in. I was told that if they get enough of the item (from a friend that works at costco) then they bring the item in. So every time your mom goes she can put a suggestion for JUST egg lol
Shame there no sacks of grains and legumes here, ''bulk'' options, only small, branded packages on shelves which are therefore more expensive, but what ya gonna do eh ;o Love how many options of everything you have there, sadly here vegan options are limited.
Great video. I live in Los Angeles, and the Costcos out here have the Beyond Burgers, eight 4oz. patties = 2 lbs. for $14.99 which is a great price. But I have not seen the Better Than Bouillon out here, but hopefully we’ll get it soon. We had Just Egg for about a month at select locations, then it was gone. That’s the thing about Costco, they’ll have somethings for a while and you’ll never see it again, or they have it off & on throughout the year.
“We still doin this video though” 😆 I just went recently with a friends membership and I thought they had Gardein products. 🤷♀️ They did have beyond burgers that were a good price. I asked at the food court if they had anything vegan & they said no 😟
i go to costco every month or so. i find they have the best deal on toilet paper, gas, etc. i do buy some extra vegan stuff while i’m there but it’s not worth it to go every week. they need more vegan options but they are getting there slowly!
I didn’t finish watching but I really hope you got that almond butter because it’s really lasts!!! And you can make almond milk with 1-1.5 tbsp almond butter and 3c water and blend! No straining needed
Costco always makes me panicky - i try to run in and out to get my dog supplies. Dave's Killer Bread is so good, but it can mold ina 2 days, so i'm out. That is a good price for prunes, btw. i am so excited to get some of that popcorn and croutons .
@@Randilynn66 i would, but i have a small freezer and Dave's is so much better fresh and untoasted. The only bread that doesn't suffer from being in the freezer is Ezekiel.
Wish my nearest Costco had better than bouillon. Those layered fruit bars @10:29 are vegan too! I love those. I actually posted a pic of some vegan finds at Costco in my Instagram and someone commented on the spring rolls and said most companies use egg to close the spring rolls. I am not sure if this one does.
I actually did find some vegan cheese puffs! Look at Sprouts they also have yummy spicy bbq puffs! I can’t remember the name of it😓 but I’n sure u could look it up
I am so jealous that that have Acai bowls at the US Costco's! Here in Canada they don't sell them and they have nothing healthy. :( Everyone just goes there for cheap hot dogs, pizza and pop.
There is a vegan Costco group on FB and it's crazy how different parts of the country have different things. They say you need to request things in their comment box as you leave. I can never find half of what other people can get in their Costco. One time I had a list of 12 things and I found 2. Some Costco's have Miyoko's butter and Chao cheese slices as well as Just Egg, Beyond and Awesome Burgers... it just depends on the Costco.
I went to the Costco in Harlem and the guy at the entrance was nice enough to let me look around to see if it was worth signing up. Had pretty much the same reaction as you. The only exciting thing was the giant Better Than Bouillon. Even though Costco has more stuff overall, you actually get more vegan products at BJ's (the name makes me laugh every time). Got my BJ's membership on a $25 promo and only renew if they run a $20 renewal discount. BJ's has a few Gardein options in family size and a couple of Morningstar vegan items. They sometimes have Beyond Burgers or the Don Lee Farms burgers. Always have Silk, Califia Farms, Planet Oat, Smart Balance AND tofu. Their prices are good. Overall, though, I find it shocking how much people buy at these places. Especially animal products. It's scary/depressing.
im so sorry your costco doesnt have tofu! I always get my tofu there! Also, mine has a few more vegan snacks as well! Loved this video! Hope once you move and things settle down you can get some staples from costco to save money!!
Not sure if anyone mentioned it in the comments already but sadly the vegetable spring rolls aren't vegan :( like the actual rolls are, but they come with a sauce that has honey in it 🙄🙄🙄 unless they changed the ingredients recently and removed the honey. i bought them a few months ago thinking they were vegan but then my friend noticed there was honey in the sauce. so sad. the rolls were good!!
She might mean Resturant Supply stores in Brooklyn theres JETHROS there were two One was in Canarsie near the Canarsie Terminal bulk produce flowers restaurant supplies as I remember remembering

I asked about a product at my Costco one day and they told me there is a suggestion box and to write down anything you want, the managers have a huge list of products they can order but they just pick what they think will sell.
Bahaha! Your excitement tickled me 😂😂😂 Costco changes their stock a lot so you kinda never know. They sell that granola in the Aci bowl in giant bags 😍 I bought beyond burgers like 2 weeks ago at my Costco. I’m in westchester so I go to the one in Pelham or occasionally yonkers. They have bomb humus & guac. I always buy my bananas there and TP. I LOVE discounts lol I’m a member to Costco and BJs 😂🤷🏾♀️ They also still have tofu at mine. Maybe just go to another one.
i was pissed when my costco stopped selling tofu. it must be a new york thing. because i see people buying tofu at costco all the time and i want some cheap tofu. they get great vegan options then next time i go they never have it again.
Well I've been told by employees is you can only use your moms card if she's with you and can't pay with card has to be cash for non-members, I'm a member and my brother wasn't allowed to pay with his card!!!
Apparently Don Lee is very similar to beyond meat!! I also heard a story that the owner use to work for beyond meat or sold them his recipe or something??? Could be a rumor!
Becca R you use to be able to without but I THINK they just changed that rule. I mean strangers are usually cool to let u use their card tho. At least in my experience

Just so you know, while those vegetable spring rolls themselves are vegan unfortunately the sauce packets they come with contain honey 😭😭
I just saw Beyond Burgers at my local Costco for the first time!
In the freezer section they have vegan Yaki Soba noodle dish, Ezkiel bread, morning star farm veggies sausage
Our Costco has a decent amount of vegan products. We get Beyond Burgers, Peanut Butter, Dave’s Killer Bread just to name a few items. I love the Acaì bowl from the food court.. I always ask sans granola.. too hard for me. 😋

I definitely thought that some flavors don’t have honey. But if that’s not true, my bad!
Pressed by KIND® and Fruit Bites flavors are vegan!
I’m pretty sure the morning star breakfast sausages have egg in them at least last time I checked 😩
So Yeah. Ah man that sucks, I haven't tried them yet but I was looking forward to trying them eventually. I guess I'm not surprised though; the morning star black bean burgers i've seen at costco also have egg :/

At my costco in NJ, they have huge bags of the vegan white cheddar hippea snacks. We bought a bag...it's almost gone lol

Yes I bought beyond burger patties for a good price. On sale for less then $15 for 8 patties.
I believe some have field roast vegan sausages and chao cheese. I haven’t checked my location yet.
Good video, thanks for all the info. I’m not a vegan but this was informative.
And then what would I do with it?

everything looks delicious!!
1000% agree with about vegan cheese balls. there also needs to be a vegan version of those pink and white circus animal cookies. really miss those

I keep it in the fridge! It molds the same as regular bread to me
I'm impressed at how stocked your costco is! I can't even make it inside mine because of lines that wrap around the store.

I can never find half of what other people can get in their Costco. One time I had a list of 12 things and I found 2. Some Costco's have Miyoko's butter and Chao cheese slices as well as Just Egg, Beyond and Awesome Burgers... it just depends on the Costco.
Wowwww THATS an amazing haul!
My. Costco has Beyond Burger, recently no tofu. Don’t know about Just Egg.
Kirkland Almond Milk is tasty, kind of watery but tasty
What location was this? I know in the NYC 5 boroughs there's like only about 3 or 4 locations only.
Industry City
Not sure if anyone mentioned it in the comments already but sadly the vegetable spring rolls aren't vegan :( like the actual rolls are, but they come with a sauce that has honey in it 🙄🙄🙄 unless they changed the ingredients recently and removed the honey. i bought them a few months ago thinking they were vegan but then my friend noticed there was honey in the sauce. so sad. the rolls were good!!
Thanks for letting us know!

I wish my Costco carried vegetable bouillon. We only have chicken and beef.
I asked about a product at my Costco one day and they told me there is a suggestion box and to write down anything you want, the managers have a huge list of products they can order but they just pick what they think will sell.
they sell giant bags of white cheddar hippeas at my costco and i was ready to buy out that whole section
Thanks for the post this is helpful
Gosh I love you so much but I recommend staying home and maybe doing home vlogs during this situation. Stay safe 💕
This was pre-recorded! I’m staying home at the moment.
I know my Kroger carries Just Egg and saw Target started selling Beyond Burgers. Maybe try those stores next.
Im not a vegan yet, but this is very useful. Gotta stop sleeping on costco. Thanks
We just got vegan Choa cheese! But I’m surprised about the tofu, that’s our go to place for it!! (Also hippeas, beyond meat!)
i was pissed when my costco stopped selling tofu. it must be a new york thing. because i see people buying tofu at costco all the time and i want some cheap tofu. they get great vegan options then next time i go they never have it again.
My Costco doesn’t have soy milk. But it does have a vegan nacho cheese that I’ve been meaning to try but i just never did
Who else is excited for *Bonus Vlogmas*? :)
Food Bazaar in Brooklyn, I get some vegan things from there.
Well I've been told by employees is you can only use your moms card if she's with you and can't pay with card has to be cash for non-members, I'm a member and my brother wasn't allowed to pay with his card!!!
Wow, here in Austria clif bars are 2,50 € per bar
My Costco has the Beyond Meat Burgers and Chao cheese and Bitchin Sauce! Stay safe!!
You are very brave! Costco scares me!!
Oh funny I think the bricks taste better than the containers.
Haha so at least means they DO taste different
Apparently Don Lee is very similar to beyond meat!! I also heard a story that the owner use to work for beyond meat or sold them his recipe or something??? Could be a rumor!
You should follow I think it’s called vegan Costco on IG 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
those kettle chips are so good
Kirkland soy milk is one of the best!
Thanks for letting me know!
That fruit looked awesome! Do you have to have a membership card to buy from the food court? :)
I think this depends on each food court. I have heard that you do, but I’ve never needed to
Becca R you use to be able to without but I THINK they just changed that rule. I mean strangers are usually cool to let u use their card tho. At least in my experience
@@tenillestewart5370 Oh well. :( Thank you. :)
Costco def has beyond burgers and just egg. It could’ve just been the location especially with the corona virus maybe vegans stocked up 😂
Sams club has tofu as well as gardein products :)
