Been on my heart lately to press into the power of scripture! Although this video is for those who don’t study the Bible it’s also to serve as a reminder for us that regularly study the Bible to not forget that we are feeding ourselves with the BREATH OF GOD. It’s so important that we prioritize that and remember that studying the Bible isn’t a ‘chore’ it’s a spiritual blessing that grows and shapes us to live righteous lives! God bless you guys 🤍

Three things I tell everyone to do daily, which will change their lives, are pray, worship, read the Bible ( or even listen to the audio Bible).
There is a recognizable difference when I go without doing all three of these things. It is so important to feed the spirit and keep yourself grounded in the word and will of God.
Seek first the kingdom of God and everything you need will be added to you. Center your life around Christ and what happens next will amaze and overwhelm you. It's a gradual process, but you will be established and you be so happy for the decision you made.
Thank you for another wonderful video. God bless you and your family.

I'm glad that you touched upon the importance of the meaning of the original Greek words, Taylor.
We cannot rely solely upon translations, because translations themselves are not inspired, God-breathed; they are the work of a translator, of man. And often times the theology and assumptions of the translator will influence how they translate.
It's a very subtle influence, but the slight nuances in how we translate the original Greek words can have an influence on the kinds of conclusions we draw from reading Scripture. Which is one reason why we are advised not to lean unto our own understanding, and why we have Church tradition to help inform our understanding of the Scriptures- lest we fall into error.
God bless! Keep up the videos, you're doing good work :)

Hi! I just wanted to correct myself I was explaining the suffering Jesus endured on the cross for us at the end and I said “his bones were crushed” which is entirely inaccurate. We know that Jesus fulfilled prophecy by not breaking a single bone. Please forgive me, pray for me and never hesitate to call me out on something that is inaccurate! I never want to step outside scripture and thank you all for helping me live out the calling that I have received! Love you all !

It’s ok Taylor love you too. I honestly missed that and overlooked it myself. Easy to do. The thing i most noticed and was gonna mention to u is the way u worded it at the end i personally kinda felt like u were implying that repenting and living for Jesus wasn’t really enough if ur not pressing into The Word. Almost implying that if you don’t read the bible, repenting and living for Jesus isn’t enough to get to heaven. Maybe i took that wrong but if not it’s absolutely enough to get to heaven. Jesus is the ONLY way, to get to heaven. Reading The Word is not a requirement, but a recommendation. Just like going to church. I agree it is incredibly hard to know God or have a relationship with Him if ur not reading The Word. But it’s not fair to scare someone into thinking they’re going to hell for not reading it either. Only God is the judge of who goes to hell and who doesn’t. Fear, worry and anxiety do not come from God. We should be using gentleness, and love, to draw people to Him. Ur doin great, and ur trying. Which is definitely enough for me. Just be careful what you might be taking in from youtube videos, ig reels, tik tok clips, things of that sort. It’s easy to miss the mark a little bit even if ur intentions are right, or even if they may have had good intentions. Read it for yourself, God speaks to us all differently. 🙏

It is a miracle that Christ's bones were never broken with all the torture He went through. The physical abuse before the Pharisees, then whipping/scourging He received on order of Pilate. (Some victims who had this done died just under scourging because of the immense pain it inflicted.) After this, they forced him to carry His cross much of the way to Calvary. Then, they pounded nails through his hands and feet when they crucified Him. What I find also amazing is He had the power to stop this torture He received at any time and yet He drank the bitter cup until the cup was completely empty.

If you don’t know who each word was spoken to, written to, prophesied to, & don’t know that all prophecy was fulfilled & we are living under a new covenant in a new heaven & earth you’re going to be really really confused. For example, Jesus did not give 1 word of instruction to gentiles. He only instructed Jews who were under the old covenant. Gentiles were never under the old covenant yet I hear millions of Christians quoting Jesus as if He’s speaking to us today.
Word of advice. If it does not bring you peace, joy, hope, or it’s not good news it is not the Spirit of God. Jesus took away the sin of the world. Anyone who says otherwise is not speaking the truth. God will never threaten or scare anyone into doing anything. It is only God’s kindness that changes us for the better. If it’s not kind it’s not God. His kindness is unconditional.

Did Jesus take away the sin of the world?
Is God holding sins against anyone today?
Is there anyone on earth today who is not justified by the blood of Jesus?
      Is God’s love unconditional?
Are we living in the new heaven & new earth?
Does everyone have the gift of eternal life?
      Is Jesus Lord of all?
Are we all living under God’s covenant as described in Hebrews 8:7-12?

And God met me there. And he's answering it all... not in the order I asked... and not (always) in ways that I like... and I will never be the same. The best therapy anyone could ever get is a better understanding of what God is saying to them in the Bible. One small detail to question/correct -- at 6:15 where you note that Jesus' bones were crushed as he was nailed to the cross. In John 19:36, remember the Roman soldiers did not break Jesus' legs, so that the prophesy that "not one of his bones would be broken" would be fulfilled. I imagine the nails being driven through his nerves, which would be even more painful.

Recently, after my baptism in August in this year, I felt the need to grow my faith, joined a club about teaching the word of God, and only recenctly, started reading the Bible on my own again, before that just googling verses to use in a debate or to understand something, and as it stands, just flipping to a random verse or passage and reading it before I go to bed. I love God with all my hearts, but it's hard to fix a bad habit 😅. I am glad I picked up the bible again, and I hadn't in about a year. God bless!

You need to Read The Bible 1 to 6hrs Everyday, If possible. Do you know you can Read The Whole Bible in about 80hrs? and The New Testament about 20 hrs. Turn Off everything and The phone on silent. You Will need a Concordance and Dictionary. Some Words do Not mean what you think they do.

Thank you so much for posting this! I started reading and saw the truth every time. To be honest, when I wanted to take up the Bible again to months ago it took me longer to finish Matthew than I would have liked because I let worldly tasks and pleasures fill my time instead.
I've finished it now, and am taking a look into Romans. I find it very fulfilling for my soul. We cannot be close to God without truly knowing him. And God provides the opportunity to know him through his Word. That is why it's so important to read.

God has been asking me to introduce my family to the Bible and you have really encouraged me to continue even when it is hard. Thank you so much for your videos, they are powerful. The Lord bless you and keep you.

I grew up a PK and Christian, yet haven’t read the entire Bible. I’ve been so convicted of that. I got married a year ago and my husband has been reading it together with me each day, right now we’re in Psalms.
Psalm 119 is one of my favorites, it’s even the longest chapter in the Bible and the writer describes how much they love God’s word, rules, commandments, and instruction, more than silver and gold. This had been my prayer that God would change my heart and desires.
Francis Chan is one of our go to pastors and this year he’s read the Bible once a month, so far this year he’s read jt 11 TIMES. So inspiring!! We have no excuse here in America.

Thank you for following Holy Spirit's guidance as you teach this community about what it looks like to walk out the Christian faith and how to deepen their relationship with Jesus! Jesus is the essential thing! Salvation is found in no one else! He is the only way, the only truth, the only way to have true life, and the only path to God! Thanks again, and keep up the good work! All glory to God!

I'm in a season of growth, focus, and discipline. As a man of God being homeless, God has guided me through the storms, and through his word and prayer, I'm becoming stronger. Your brother in Christ. -Andrew

I'd recommend the CSB as a good translation - very accurate, very readable, and (for those who might feel "bored" with reading the Bible) it brings a freshness to the Bible because it often puts things in a new (but still very accurate) way. 😊

I grew up in a household with a (slightly) narcissistic person but also was raised christian. Just a few months ago I was diagnosed with ptsd and other mental health issues. I have always been curious about the Bible and wanted to read it but I never felt safe enough to do that because of my environment. Maybe there is somebody out there that feels the same way and relates to it. So for those who struggle: God won’t let you down! He knows you and He sees all the struggles you go through. Turn to Him. When it’s hard, when you feel alone and unwanted and like nothing will ever make you happy. He will wait for you. He will wait with His arms opened. It’s not always easy to lay onto Him buts surely worth it. He is worth everything!
P.S. Taylor, I really like your videos. They encourage me and help focusing on the vision God has for me but they also make me want to improve the gift God gave me. Keep up the good work and stay blessed🥰

Amen, good word, Taylor. It is important that we as Christians be in the Word of God, read and study the Bible for ourselves, and not rely on someone else's reading it for us. The Word of God is sharper than any two edge sword and is our only offensive weapon we have against the attacks of the devil . Peace

Hebrews speaks of those who dine on “solid food,”which in context is the scriptures, saying it is for the mature “who by constant use have trained themselves to know good from evil.” Thus stressing the need to read it daily. Great video, Taylor!!!

Absolutely ON TARGET WORD, Taylor. All excellent, and I especially appreciate the firm, straight up caution you gave, saying that if people think they know right from wrong without reading the Bible, THEY DON'T! That's the perfect description of what has happened in our culture in America. Once a CHRISTIAN nation, founded on CHRISTIAN FAITH, with BIBLE principles at the very core of our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution, we slowly drifted away from this, ignoring the warnings God has given in His WORD to ALL PEOPLES AND NATIONS that they must trust in Him above all others, for He is the true God, and there is no other.
The ONLY WAY TO KNOW HIM IS TO KNOW HIS WORD!
And not coincidentally, He revealed His WORD in the person of His Own Son, JESUS CHRIST! Where can you best learn about Jesus? By reading the BIBLE, and opening your heart's door for Him to come in and fellowship with you! (Revelation 3:20)

Whenever Jesus responded to satan's temptations, He always said "it is written" (referring to God's Word). We need to know and use the Word the same way. The Bible is our authority and standard for life. It is the main way God speaks to us.

Just wanted to say you are amazing, glory to God. I am 37, a wife and mother to four beautiful kids and im ashamed to say i would have once scrolled past a video from a young lady like yourself assuuming that we are in different stages of life and i need to click on the women that are grey-ing like myself, to gain any fruitfulness. Such a lie! I lost my little kitten last week and while i was grieving her heavily, God used your videos and another God-fearing woman on YT to bring me back to him! Praise God that people like you are being obedient and allowing His spirit to lead you and guide you. I have watched about 20 videos of yours in a few days. Bless your heart, you are awesome! 🙏❤️
