Thank you for showing your creative issues, not mistakes, but the process to make beautiful things! I have not used metallic puff yet but I have watched a few people. Several things happened to others, also. One lady did NOT use her Teflon sheet also waited a couple seconds for the puff to cool as it seemed to peel better even though they say peel hot. I use a top platen cover so I don't have to use the Teflon sheet OR parchment paper. One of the best investments and it was cheap! Love your press. I have the 15 inch pullout without the auto open.❤
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. This material is so fun but sometimes can be challenging. I am going to get a cover for the top of my press too. I think that’s a great idea!
It looks to be a crease in the middle of your Teflon and that is the issue from what I can see. Use non stick parchment paper maybe
You’re exactly right! I can’t believe I missed it until the end🤦🏽♀️
That is what you call a teacher, great job
thank you SO much!
Girl I was laughing so hard when you pressed the gang and only the g stuck and said I’m having a day. I know the feeling all too well. Girl I feel your pain lol. 😂 love you Sis
OMG…I was sooo frustrated, lol. I wasn’t laughing when I filmed but when I watched it I was cracking up, 🤣😂
I think the first one was a brilliant save I wouldn't even think of doing that. I just love watching you guys working live and showing us that even veterans make mistakes too, gives me so much life. Ever since that door mat video I ask myself what would Courtney do. The is answer always is never give up.
Oh man I LOVE that you take that message away from my videos! It definitely what I want people to feel. I really don't. I make a lot of shifts and changes but I don't give up on something I want to work. Thank you for youe support!
I felt your pain, and loved your perseverance. Excellent tutorial. ❤️
ughhhh so much pain, lol. I'm so glad it finally worked and that you enjoyed it.
Fixing letters looks hard. Here for the Brick!
it would have worked perfectly if it was regular vinyl but the puff is just a little different
Thanks for sharing it shows me that I’m not the only one who stresses out if something goes wrong. 🥰
OMG, I have a lot of stress and frustration, especially with a new product, lol
I'm so grateful for all the creators like you that keep it real.❤
I'm new to the T-shirt designing, and the fact that you showed you kept showing me how you keep messing up, but didn't give up, i truly appreciate you,
Thank you for letting me know I'm not alone and not to give up either ❤
thank you so much! I'm so happy that you enjoyed the video. I get so nervous posting stuff like this but it really is how it goes sometimes, lol
@@TheCraftyBrick yes it definitely does 😂
Although I know that you were able to discover the problem, just watching you in the REPLAY gave me so much stress.
I’m so happy you got it fixed. It’s beautiful!!!
I knooowww!!! I was SO stressed and frustrated making it😩. We could all breathe easy in the end though, lol
i love that its not just me that "has a day" when crafting!!! great video!
oh man, I have a lot of days. luckily the good outweigh the bad...whew!
I appreciate you showing the challenges. Thanks for a great video
Thanks for watching!
Gorgeous shirt!!
Oh honey. I was feeling your pain. I was going crazy trying to figure out what was going wrong with that darn S. I finally noticed it on the second time you pressed the t-shirt. That darn crease in the Teflon sheet!!!!! UGH!!!
Well, we learned a lot from this video and I thank you for your perseverance!! AND for showing us the whole process!!
You're a ROCK STAR!!

Thsnk you so much Courtney for showing we all have off days. So many new crafters aren't shown this. ❤❤

Wow...I didnt watch til the end when I commented and said it has a crease...so glad you realized it at the end...
You were very observant 😁
Thanks for sharing the video. On how not to use the siser.
thanks for watching Donzell!
Great Video Courtney. I'm glad you figured out what was going on. Perseverance is the key. Awesome Job. The shirt looks gorgeous. I Love It. ❤️
thanks co much!!! I'm so happy with the outcome. Took while to get there but it worked out! Thanks for watching!
You're Welcome. 😊
😮blew my mind when you removed the letters! Thank you for sharing your techniques. I’m still a little new at this. You did a really good job though
i know right!??! Yeah sometimes things just don't go as planned and I've been doing this a long time. I know you're new, just keep practicing!
Thanks for showing your mistakes...I have ordered some and want to ensure I use it correctly...so thanks for your transparency and how to remove it
You got it! It’s such a cool material. I hope you love it!
Hi Courtney - Though it must have been very frustrating I am so glad you showed all the bumps along the way because that may help someone else. I'm happy that you figured out what was wrong. The silicone sheets can cause press problems. I would press out your silicone sheets at highest temp possible and then roll them instead of folding them. I have mine rolled and stored in a tall container (I got one of the magazine holder bags that goes on the Ikea peg board).
Thank you for your support! I swear I almost didn’t post but you’re right. I KNOW I’m not the only one that might have issues so helpfully this will help someone! That’s a great idea about the Teflon sheets. I will def be changing the way I store them. I actually never thought to roll them until this happened.
Thanks for sharing..loving that metallic puff. You didn't give up. You kept going and succeeded. Will buy and try soon.
yes I did! I could NOT fail. I"m so glad you liked it.
Hello Courtney and Everyone in the Chat 👋.
When storing, Roll the Teflon sheet instead of folding … nice design!
Yes now I know! I can’t believe I hadn’t heard that before.
Hello from Mississippi!
Hello. Your video is a great help. I am dealing with silver-like color spots on my puffed up gold metallic HTV. Got any ideas on this? Thanks.
That sounds like burn spots to me. What is your temp on?
LOL. Sis. Crafting is great when it works but when it act a fool😂. I don’t know if it was pointed out for you already. It’s not getting even pressure because your collar is still on the bottom part of the press where the S is… you need to push it further back when I’m pressing shirts, I press with the collar toward me.
thanks for making that observation Tina!
Thank you!
You bet!
Thanks for sharing this
you got it. Hopefully it helps you avoid some mistakes.
Good video thanks looks good ❤
thanks Jessie!
#replay oh no about the issue. Thankfully this didn’t happen during the challenge the other night. Wondering if the Teflon sheet is causing the issues.
i knooooowww! thank goodness! yeah the crease in the teflon was problematic.
Try repressing with a clean flat sheet with more pressure
will do thanks!
I did not know that vinyl could be removed from the item you are working on.
Yep! I’ve don’t that many times. It works great!
Could it be the teflon wrap on the bottom wrinkling?
That’s exactly what it was🤦🏽♀️
I’m glad I figured it out but it was SO irritating
Hello what is your pressure setting
I think I was on 15 maybe. It was medium pressure
the white vinyl should have been pressed at 305-310 the puff at 280 with more pressure for both
thanks for the tip
Hello
Cute
thank you!
