Jah know, plywood is not the best board to build speaker boxes but it would look much better if dem did use a piece to patch out dah top end box deh.
Plywood gives you the best balance between weight and density. So yes, is the best material to use for building cabs that need to be mobile. However in Jamaica it's seems like they haven't heard of DURATEX which provides ply with a good layer of protection from the elements.
