I’m learning Welsh and Norwegian and French and Swedish and Portuguese and German and many other languages, and I learned Dutch (advanced level / over 8.000 base words) in a few months, and am beginner level in Welsh, and it’s not true that they don’t have vowels, and also, the Y and W are considered vowels as well and are pronounced the same way as in English, and most Welsh words don’t look like the long city names at all, for example afon (river) and helygen (willow tree) and blodyn (flower) etc, and it’s a bit similar to Dutch in certain ways, like intonation and the vibe it gives and the CH sound that’s also used in Dutch, so I memorized over 450 Welsh words so far, and it’s definitely the easiest Celtic languages, and Breton is also very easy and like a mix of Welsh & French - it gets way easier once one learns all the pronunciation rules and enough words to recognise verbs and nouns and adjectives with their different endings!

The Cherokee has a written vocabulary that has been around for a very long time and is one of the first written Indigenous languages written for the preservation of the Cherokee history and world events around them. It is being actively taught in order to preserve the language. I really wish a language app would work with people who speak Cherokee and make it more available to those outside the Tribe can learn it. As so many out there who can and do claim an ancestor of Cherokee descent, so do I and would love to learn the language so I can strengthen the connection to my ancestry.

The Xhosa pronunciations were off, from the source video as well because that’s not a native Xhosa speaker making that video. Good try though.

For japanese, when they say osakini shitsurei shimasu, they misspelled shitsurei as shiturei so nobody would get that right

Part 2 of this! And please include deep tagalog words or other Filipino language like bisaya or cahavacano! That will be great!

3:27 sounds similar to the filipino word "makina" which means engine, and sometimes sewing machine

technically in italian "macchina" means "machine" so it can be used in many other context like "macchina da cucire" = sewing machine, "macchina da scrivere" = typewriter, or "macchina da caffè" = coffee machine, but used alone the word is more often used to refer to cars in general though we also use auto or automobile (which has a different pronunciation in italian), but colloquially macchina is the most common word. :)
