The Deluxe version was originally a Target exclusive so once that contract ended, she compacted all of the songs (except for 1 called Lay Up Under Me) into one tracklist and rearranged it with the songs that were fan-faves & the ones that did the best commercially near the top
I have to recommend these again lol but if you want some great visuals you could maybe combine the video for run the world and the live performance at the billboard awards into one video because both were awesome and groundbreaking at the time 🔥 also definitely have to check out I Care live at Roseland, Love on Top live at VMAs and 1+1 at American Idol plus the rehearsal 🔥🔥🔥 all highly recommend!
This album didn't get heavily promoted because she got pregnant with blue. Also, jayz 4:44 makes sense in the context of it being their anniversary. April 4th 2004. It's their family's lucky number. This is such an amazing underrated album!!
This re release was after Love on Top winning that grammy (I think) they tried to push LOT thats why thats the opener on this new release, but really the original tracklist is a lot better and it has Lay Up Under Me
her label or team rearranged the tracklist for a rerelease in 2012; discontinuing the standard edition from 2011. The updated tracklist flows better to me. I was annoyed at first, but it makes sense. She sadly removed a song called “Lay Up Under Me”. Her label did the same with the deluxe edition of her 2006 album ‘B’Day’. They arranged the tracklist based on song success and sonic flow.
Yooo I have worked in the tv/entertainment (events) and artist really be like that! Omg they so sensitive and so bad at time management. Sometimes you fight an uphill battle to get them to do something or get them to a certain place. I know managers be going thru it 🥴😩

When she talks about the ocean, it reminds me of black is king visuals like Nile and Bigger. It’s fun to see the connections throughout her career.
That’s what I truly like about Beyoncé as an artist it’s truly her and you can see her growth throughout all her albums/projects.

I was going to recommend Life is But a Dream, but I see my fellow hive already did that 😊. So I'll recommend Made In America 2015.
