Espen - you have to love the team at DJI. They never seem to rest after a product is released. The improvements and updates just keep coming. It's a great way for a brand to build a loyal following.

I was torn betweenn both camers for a longer time, both have great features. I ultimatly choose the DJI OA4, now I'm very glad about that, thanks DJI and thank you Espen for your great videos - you were one of my choosing factors :)

Early shots on the Ace show more detail in the clouds (top left). Just as though a CPL filter was in use. The Ace goes for reds, the A4 for blues. The Ace is less sharp or less focused on your face, and as the avallable light decreases, After 8 mins, the Aco begins to look a ‘flat” image whereas the 10 bit upgraded A4 gives a feeling of contrasty definition, and the cloud detail matches the Ace.
Thanks for looking, I agree with a lot of what you're saying. I think that 10 bit on Dji makes it more to my taste. I believe that Dji has better color reproductions than Ace Pro. It also focuses much better than the Ace Pro. Thanks for watching 😀
This is a side note, but I really miss Norway. The nature trails are amazing for running and biking. I can't wait to travel to Oslo this summer with my Action 4 and Pocket 3.
The trails are awesome, and Oslo has many of them. Any special places in Oslo?, Nordmarka is great and many other places. I live in Bergen, we have a lot of nice places. In Bergen I hike a lot on the mountains. Like Ulriken and Fløyen
Great informative video. I think it's down to personal preference with the cameras and what people want. Some prefer one thing over another that each camera offers. For instance image qualiy, sound quality etc. Probably like many others. I have watched countles videos like this to help me decide which one to chose before I buy. I decided on the Action 4 over the GoPro 12. Basicly because of the overheating problems lots of people were saying about the GoPro 12.A;lso longer batter life and faster charing time for batteries of Axtion 4. But again it all depends on what yo do and want.
Wow what a difference. To see the difference, make sure you change this video setting to 4k, and just pause the video. The ACE pro is always out of focus on the face. Once you notice this, you can't forget this this. Until they fix that, the ACE pro is unusable. How have they released this with such a giant flaw.

Hey, so good you want to buy Action 4. You won't regret it. Well 10 bit is normally on, there is also enhanced low light mode. This means that when the light conditions get darker, the camera automatically switches to low light mode. And then it films in 8 bit. But under normal lighting conditions, it will film in 10 bit, but 10 bit is normally best in log profile. Then you have more to work with when you color grade.
@@ubidubiumibilibertas9076 thats a good question. Well the action 5 gonna cost more, but the action 4 is a great camera. The price will go down on the action 4 the closer we get to a new camera. Not easy to answer.

If Action 5 Pro shows a better image quallity, i would buy it, but if they create a new version with just extra software, 5k (i don''t need it) and chips are the same inside, well, i would buy an Action 4 because i don't wanna pay more for extra features i will not or want. I tend to think the new Osmo Action 5 will increase the night vision and might have a little thing here and there, but will not be a big jump, just as the Action 3 was not a big jump next to the Action 4 in my opinion.
I liked the Ction 4 color and sharpness and overall look. The one down size in the comparison in my opinion is the very light sweat on your face was overexposed. But that was very minor in comparison to all the positive.

Hi, it should be updated. But its really easy to update the camera. When you have the app and camera connected it will find the latest update.

Can you write down the settings of the dji ?
This was all recorded using 4K 30 fps, normal color 10 bit wb auto and sharpness set to -1 or 2. Iso was set to 100-800
