I legit teared up for this song, I remember loving the original, and listening to it whenever I did feel broken hearted.... it's actually kinda spooky how I can relate to this even more now... I'm really shocked that they put this out!
I love it too, its bittersweet knowing this is (from what they said) the last songs they will release. and the original has always been my favorite falling up song, and they being my favourite band of the multiple hundreds i listen to. They also actually announced them doing a couple reimagined songs when their last kickstarter reached a certain goal, and fans got to vote. i voted for this song and im happy it was made!
that's honestly really awesome! Though to be honest it's kinda a bummer to a degree in a sense that these songs kinda make me wish they did this with the rest of the songs they did, like Into The Gravity, Good Morning Planetarium, Exhibition, Moonlit, Goddess Of Dayspring Am I, the list goes on...!
for sure that would have been awesome! at least we got some remixes on exit lights :D but i have really grown to love the more art/indie rock form they took *****
yeah I remember when i was a fan of them, and i just suddenly discovered fangs, and it was like my mind was bending lol, and i soon grew to love their style of story telling, like even now I want to make like analysis videos on like trying to figure out what the stories are for the albums of like fangs and your sparkling death cometh.
***** have you ever listened to Jessy's audio book of hours? it was a really great story, felt like it doesn't connect with the album entirely but it was still great
oh shit, totally disliked this version, why did you change the lyrics? ''So heal my heart, rain down your love, these waters will bring me back to life'' you should insert FATHER, HEALER with piano in the end like you did in old good times live.. cause everything else in original was pretty much cool and decent
i think their idea was to completely re imagine the songs rather than just remake them. the lyrics also probably reflect where they are now rather than 12+ years ago.
Think of it as a new song kind of. It's not just remade but "reimagined" so it makes sense to have slightly different lyrics. At least they didn't take God out of it.
And Falling Up is now finish... This is the best Band Ending of all time. Thank you Falling Up I gonna miss you.
They went out with a huge bang, it's so wonderful and I'm glad they did. Like you said, best band ending ever.
Even.. I'm so sad ! I think Falling Up's not dead at all. But i will listen to their poem all the rest of my life !
Absolutely my friend!
PSYCH! ONE MORE RIDE
this song is powerful, its healed my soul in my darkest days. thank you guys

this nice lyric vocal alt.rock amazing
Please deliver me, Father
"Now I think I'm ready to live again."
I really want to know what the lyrics are. I can't always understand what Jessy is singing.
Also, really glad they made some more music
I posted the lyrics in the description :D make sure you go to their bandcamp and grab yourself a copy as well
Thank you!
Does anyone have these lyrics? I think they are a bit different from the original.
This band and Skillet are my two favourite bands. Very close is Sanctus Real and Owl City though.
Oh, and also Group 1 Crew and KJ-52.
Group 1 Crew was awesome ^^
+Emmanuel Cartelli Was?

It's called "Reimagined" for a reason, bud.
