At a certain Tinkering level (60?) your gyrobot gets enemy detection radar, which is very nice if RNG hasn't given you a ring of warning yet. Edit - You still have to turn it on by interacting with the bot. Also your gyrobot can deploy traps, and interact with them to toggle their mode. This is a nice way to cross pits if you don't have levitation yet - Just deploy a teleportation trap with the gyrobot, have it interact with it once, then deploy your own teleportation trap, interact with it twice (with a lockpick), and step in

Set up all your turrets in one corner of the entrance room to a floor, put a teleportation trap in the opposite corner, and interact with it *once* with a lockpick. Now any enemies you hit with other teleportation traps will be sent to this one, to be instantly gunned down by your turrents.

The biggest problem with this class is inventory space. You have to carry mechanisms and at the same time, have space for artefacts and other things to sell them in case of a trader. If common items, like weapon, common armor, and books, can be scrapped, then rare gems that cost 2000-3000 gold, I would like to hold till the first trader I can sell it.

I love randomly teleporting things. Anyone I'm with hates it because I tend to land my teleports near them.
