    I’ve a Karu 12 wood only. You can’t do this kind of cooking in a wood fired ooni can you?

      try using a charcoal/wood mix, it's a bit more challenging, but more rewarding and flavorful!

    Delicious recipe! Is this possible to do in the Koda 12? And can we use a non ooni cast iron plate to cook it (it’s still cast iron)

      We're glad you like it! As long as it fits, you can definitely do it - just be aware that the flames may be too close to the chicken. You can use any pan as long as they're able to withstand the temperatures inside your Ooni oven 😊.

      You gotta try it! We'd recommend adding a few extra turns when using the Karu 12G, given the flame comes from the back. Otherwise, follow all other instructions and enjoy that tasty bird! 🔥
